I’ve been doing charts for close to 50 years, and it is exhausting and time consuming to pull out the chart paper and ephemeris and calculator when you can plug the information into a computer aided program. I have found myself relying on computer generated charts to provide me with aspects and planetary placements. And I realize now, I should not have done that, and if you are serious about learning astrology, just for personal reasons or if you wish to become a professional, I STRONGLY suggest that you take these computer-generated “free” chart generation apps with a huge grain of salt. Learn to use ephemeris, learn to draw your own charts, learn to interpret by looking at a chart and getting the “feel of it”. Don’t be lazy. You will be given bad information. You will be giving your clients bad information, and that is unethical. Yes, you can use them to get the placements and bypass the ephemeris, but for Gawd’s sake, learn to use an ephemeris.
