Summer Camp
"How did you know?" I asked, not sure I wanted the answer. I thought I had been careful. I thought she fell for the lies like the others. I wasn't aware that she was keeping an eye on me. This strange yet beautiful and wonderful girl. It was summer camp, 1993. My parents divorced two months before my mother decided to send me away for her own selfish reasons. She wanted alone time with her new man. The mechanic next door. I was only fourteen. And very upset. Upon arrival I promised myself to be mute. As rebellion. As a cry for help. Hoping my visit to this pathetic summer pass time would be short. Weeks passed and I convinced everyone I couldn't speak. To my surprise, it made me popular. I made many friends. All the campers were so intrigued by the boy who couldn't speak. And to be honest I learned to enjoy all the camp's activities.

The Last Ghost Whisperer
The wind whispered through the dark, empty trees like a warning in a foreign language. Winter was coming, and with winter came the beings that created the season. The angels. Seeking refuge from the hot summers, bright springs and exaggerated autumns. They're not your ordinary snow angels on the ground. They're the ones responsible for the snow. They're the ones that delicately make each individual snowflake. Taking care of all the sleeping creatures in the forest. Keeping the trees alive during the cold season.

Fantasy Novels We Need
Wizards, vampires, and werewolves are the most common fantasy creatures in books and television. Of course, the greatest fantasy novels have these basic supernatural beings like Harry Potter. Vampire Diaries, Vampire Academy, and Twilight are also very popular books among this generation and even though these are good books I and a lot of readers I know are bored of these overused supernatural beings.

The Untold Story
Everyone knows the story of the great Egyptian Pharaohs and the Gods they worship. What they might not know is that those Gods are real and the Egyptians were onto something great. Raw, the most respected and feared of all the Gods, had three beautiful daughters each with their own domain. Emau the eldest, was Goddess of secrets, Kat the Goddess of the Nile, and the youngest Luna the Goddess of reflection. Each girl was powerful in their own right, serving the people and helping the land. They all knew the rules too. Don’t let the mortals see you and no talking with them. Of course the girls were curious but they loved their father and wouldn’t go against his wishes. That is until one day Luna stood by her mirror watching the mortal world and showing the mortals their reflections like she did every day. A young Pharaoh by the name Osiris appeared in her mirror and she was instantly taken with him. So much so she pressed her dainty hand on the silver mirror which allowed her to be seen by the boy. Of course it was an accident, or so it is told.

Stellar Cruise Part 5
When things finally come to a head, will the passengers and crew be ready... The Zala’s senior staff met every ship’s morning in the main conference room behind the bridge. The room was dominated by an oblong table that kind of resembled a fat plantain. The senior most of the staff sat around it while their aids and junior lieutenants stood behind them. Screens displayed ships status and viewports on either side showed the void of space in its ebony glory.

Stench of Death
Salt stings the noses of the small band of survivors crossing a narrow channel of calm, crimson stained water. Smoke bellows from where they came and ash lightly falls through the heavy fog. The men cough and tremble, each of them are scared in some way. Captain Wayland sits at the helm of the ship that carries fifteen men including himself. Many of them are too wounded to sit, let alone stand. The ones that do sit and stand, endure the odor of their comrades’ burnt flesh rising up to their noses. Captain Wayland drifts back and forth as blood runs down his chin, he gently looks upward. The tight vein of water is enclosed by large walls of stone, sharpened like the spears of giants. The fog and smoke lay a blanket over the sky dripping ash through the air and into the men’s lounges. He wipes the blood from his jaw and looks down towards his soldiers that shiver and cry.
