Fire Within
“Ma’am, we need you to step back!” “Building is under lockdown.” “They have a gun!” I could the fire within me burning as I looked frantically around for someone, anyone, to tell me what happened and who was involved. Spying Dale off to the side, I pushed my way through, grabbing him by the shoulder.

From the Shadows
Adrienne stepped onto the veranda. It was an unseasonably warm evening in February, and she needed to catch the breeze that came off the water. She had not yet danced, but her face behind the mask was still finely misted with perspiration, and she could feel small rivulets of the same running down between her breasts beneath the heavy eighteenth century costume dress that she’d chosen to wear this evening.

Red Riding Hood - The Huntsman
It was unusually silent in the house when Red woke up. She stretched comfortably beneath her covers before getting out of bed. She pulled on her leggings, a pair of fur boots, a white shirt and, of course, her bright red cloak. Her grandmother sewed the cloak for her for her birthday last year when she came of age. Red quickly braided her long chocolate hair and then left her room to find her mother.

8 Years Later
“And that is how I met my uncles,” the girl with flaming hair finished reading her story with a flourish. Her three uncles looked at her in stunned silence. Eight years had passed since that day and ever since the reptilian’s lives had been closely intertwined with the young ladies. They had certainly intended on finding her a proper home, at least at first. Somewhere with humans, maybe even a mother and father with other kids. But she had inexplicably saved all of them. Kriel still insisted that it was simply a life debt they owed her but even he could not deny that a life without her had become unimaginable. Even when they considered her strange power the brothers felt bonded to the girl in ways they had never thought possible.

Remareia
Before existence, all that was, was the void; darkness in its truest form. This was not like the void of space that would eventually become known, but something older. Out from the void came The Nine. Entities formed of dark matter over millennia. First formless, roaming power, then partially embodied consciousness.

Insane Winds
Insane Winds from the southeast blew in a man who looked like he belonged in some circus sideshow from long since pass. His eyes were bulging out while his arms tanned and well worked were the size of an English Alter Boy. Lips were pink and tight, seemed, as he looked, as though he wore makeup there. The remainder of his face was off, one his left side it looked normal as to where his right was beaten and seemed sunken at places. Outside of that, his body for the most part looked normal and nothing as he stood there in the doorway to Tuns Tavern seemed a bit odd to the barkeep.

The Replacement Method
There was once a city made of metal. A city, very real and vibrant, but rusted and filled with squeaking hinges and stained corners of oil. There were electric stains on the all the buildings caused by sparks that that jumped from the wires that plugged in to everything and kept the city running. It was a place filled with ghastly clanks, and ominous chinks and conks, and ear shattering screeches that can only be made from dragging a fork across a plate. But inside this city is what will surprise you. The metal city was filled with metal people.

I Have Only Loved You
I Have Only Loved You John W. Gilmore You Have Some Problem -- Chapter 1 “We’re moving kind of fast, Clyde. What are you doing?” I looked at the panel. “We’re going in the wrong direction again.” I began to hit some of the buttons to redirect the ship. I looked at him. “Jesus! You sitting right there smoking wacky weed! What’s wrong with you?”
