Crowdfunding Science
Scientific discovery has always required extensive resources and large purse strings. But with decreasing sources of funding, getting a project off the ground can be daunting. Grants often require some sort of pilot data and preliminary analysis, both of which can be costly. And for those living in countries where funding is scarce, finding any source is incredibly important. Many researchers have begun to look at alternatives, one of these being crowdfunding.

The Judgement Bell
FOREWORD IT’S BEEN A WHILE No one really noticed the man in black walking up Nob Hill Road. San Francisco is home to so many outrageous personalities that this man would fit right in. He was tall with a long black leather trench and matching black fedora. His black suit and black mod ankle boot shoes made him the perfect retro. He was flawless and ruggedly handsome for a man in his 40s. Dark brown hair peeking out from under the brim of his hat matched his mocha skin color and deep sunk eyes. He walked into a diner near a corner called “The Waiting Room,” the reference was not lost on him with who he was about to meet. He was greeted at the door by a waitress who was only too happy to ask if he needed a table.

'Star Wars' Top 6 Snoke Identity Theories
Which ones do you believe? 6. Snoke is Gallius Rax The first Aftermath novel is centered around a group of Imperial leaders who meet on Akiva directly after the destruction of the second Death Star. The group was betrayed by Admiral Sloane, one of their own. Sloane was working for an informant known as “The Operator” whose aim was to destroy the old Empire so he could build “an Empire worthy of the galaxy it will rule.” The Operator was revealed to be Gallius Rax, a fleet commander who with a bold vision for a better Empire. Rax controls people from behind the scenes to accomplish his goals, setting him up perfectly to lead the First Order, the new Empire as Snoke.

“BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!” The alarm clock blasted out its wake up call signaling the start of what was sure to be another stupendous day. A slender hand with bright pink fingernails snaked out from under the mound of twisted sheets and blankets to put an end to the electronic war cry with a smash. Syreena squeezed her eyes together and sighed loudly.
