The Science of Zombies
When we think of zombies, we typically think of the dead crawling out of their graves and eating brains. This is not the case when it comes to "reality." With mutations and the world of disease and infection evolving, a "zombie outbreak" is very possible. New sciences and technology are constantly changing the world.

Five Glitchy Teaser Trailers Released For Ghost In The Shell Live Action Movie
Paramount just released a handful of intro videos and it look like something cribbed from the intro of CTOS video logs (à la Watchdogs, the video game). They give a glimpse of the how the first ever live action adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s science fiction manga will look like. These are just pointless videos released to spur excitement among movie fans. It is definitely not achieving that.

Under the Clouds
I was surrounded in black smoke. I was suffocating, choking on the ash that fell from the black clouds like acid rain. My clothes were covered in soot as I continued down the blackened street, coughing up the polluted oxygen that stuck in the air like thick fog. If a doctor checked me out and looked into my mouth, he’d probably see swollen and red tissue that makes up my throat. Mentally cursing myself for forgetting my oxygen mask at home, I hurried down the charcoal sidewalk, squeezing my way through a crowd of rowdy teenagers as they screamed and hollered at each other over some petty incident. Making my way through the crowd, I briskly walked the few steps to the bus stop, glancing around me at the many skyscrapers that were drenched in black snow. Downtown Indova was the worst part of the city. The pollution was the worst here, always choking someone on the street until they could breathe no more, and they would fall dead onto the black concrete. No one would pay any mind to the victim; he’d either get stepped over or ran over by a car before the Emergency Officials actually came and picked him up. There was no grass on the ground either, or at least, no grass visible to the human eye. The entire ground was hidden in darkness, covered in ash, soot, chemicals, and any other pollutants that are quickly killing Indova’s population. The Indova Hospital was overflowing with sick patients, citizens on the verge of death from breathing in toxins and poisoned oxygen.

Amy Adams Responds To Alien Contact In The First Teaser For Denis Villeneuve's Sci-Fi Drama 'Arrival'
While the world awaits for Dennis Villeneuve's grim, smoggy futuristic version of dystopian Los Angeles in Blade Runner 2, the director has revealed a 1-minute spot for his other sci-fi project 'Arrival'. It stars Amy Adams which is all I want to know. Still photographs of the film were released sometime this week giving our first look at the characters played by Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. The teaser was released a few minutes ago and it reminds you why the word 'thriller' is synonymous with the works of Dennis Villeneuve.

This Blade Runner VR Experience Is The Definition Of 'Lit'
"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away", Philip K. Dick had to say this about Reality. He also said, "I, in my stories & novels often write about counterfeit worlds, semi-real worlds as well as deranged private worlds inhabited often by just one person." Boy, would he be profoundly happy to experience Virtual Reality had he been alive today.

The Last Jedi Review (Non-Spoiler)
Now, I'm not Variety or Holly Willoughby, so you'll find no spoilers here. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the eighth film in the Star Wars franchise and the sequel to 2015's very successful The Force Awakens, but does it match that? Does it surpass it? In some ways yes, and in some no.

The 'Star Wars' Radio Dramas
'A New Hope' Perhaps one of the greatest science fiction movies of the twentieth century, Star Wars has captured the hearts of millions and lost a few of them along the way as the series went back in time. Of course, I’m talking about the prequels, but that’s not the purpose of this review.

Where Did America Get Her Name?
Where America got her name: In researching where America got her name, I came upon some interesting facts. One site with some interesting reading was the University of Huston. It even showed an interesting picture of the two routes Amerigo Vespucci made in 1499. Vespucci, who was an Italian merchant employed by the Medici’s of Italy (who helped Columbus prepare for his third voyage), sailed and explored South America, after Columbus had sailed his second voyage. During his explorations, as he was also a Navigator like Columbus, he had measured the Earth’s circumference to within just 50 miles and had also made improvements to navigational techniques. Amerigo Vespucci’s second voyage was the exploration that was historical. He followed the coast of South America down and realized it was NOT India, but a new continent entirely.
