97% of Americans Overestimate the Cost of Solar Panels
Times are rapidly changing. The earth is getting hotter and it is obvious that part of the reason we don't embrace alternative sources of energy is largely because we have been told constantly that it is too expensive and even if you did go in that direction, you would never make your money back.

The Joys of a Show Like Mythbusters
The beauty of a show like Mythbusters is their longevity in a world where a lot of television fans are very specific about what they do and don't like. Things have to follow so much of a plot or have so much drama to keep interests. They have to cover similar or the same ideas over and over, and the show definitely cannot focus on anything other than its hosts. Mythbusters breaks a lot of conventions while holding up their own television traditions though. I want to take some time to discuss some of the things that make this show great, because it really does need saying.

Dec 22 2017 UFO Sighting
Once again, all of social media was abuzz with the possibility of a new UFO sighting. A spectacular visual display of the exhaust gasses blending into the atmosphere at sundown over the Southern California coastline, from a SpaceX rock launch out of Vandenberg Air Force Base was to blame.

Tears from the Earth
There was a time not too long ago that the people of the Earth lived in harmony and balance with this world. There were not so many people living on the world as many folks hardly lived beyond their 40s. But in the past few hundred years, there has been an explosion in the world's population, people are living longer due to medical advances and people are having more offspring. This is having a major effect on the Earths resources. We live in a wasteful society where we throw away so much plastic and waste. Recently I heard that huge amounts of plastic are deliberately dumped into the oceans. I was shocked to hear this.

The Last Jedi
So, Joey and I’ve been watching holiday movies we haven’t seen. Sunday night, we saw Bad Santa and Bad Santa 2, which is funny and strangely cute with the play between Billy Bob Thornton’s Willie and Brett Kelly’s The Kid, the latter of which reprised his role as an adult.

'The Last Jedi': What's The Matter, Luke?
I am not what you would call a person of faith. I believe there's some sort of higher power, and I respect everyone's right to believe in the higher power of the religion they follow, but I am not exactly someone who feels compelled by any one religious tenet. I try to live life as any decent person would, with regard for my fellow humans on the planet, because I think that's what humanity should be about. I also believe that at times, one's faith can get shaken, and shaken hard. During those times, I would imagine it's more than a little difficult to keep strong in one's faith.

Lives of Future-Past - Chapter 4
Chapter Four Earth After calming his nerves somewhat, Max had set all flight controls to automatic and was resting in his sleeping quarters. The good thing about Side Space was that, as far as anyone knew, there were no dangerous objects floating around. He could relax and enjoy the ride. The navigation was automated via the hook drive and on-board computer systems. Once certain coordinates were reached, the drive would disengage and the ship would drop into normal space at the velocity the craft was at when it had initially entered into the rift.
