Point of Origin
Chief advisor Armenn stood anxiously outside the great throne room, waiting for its mammoth door to open. Delivering a report to the queen was nerve-wracking enough at the best of times, without having the added pressure that the report he was about to give her could, in all probability, start an interplanetary war. He could, however, take small comfort from the fact that it wasn’t the first time one of his briefings had led to bloodshed.

Disappointed! (When a Franchise Becomes Too Popular)
I can’t help but feel excited any time a new Star Wars film arrives. Even if it turns out to be mediocre to say the least, any time the opening crawl appears with that iconic music from John Williams, it’s exciting. Perhaps it’s a symptom of the division in our society, but the most recent film garnered a shocking and frankly rather extreme reaction. I’m sure you read the reactions and reviews by now, and you either love it intensely, or you had such a visceral reaction the very thought of it almost gives you a coronary. However, this article isn’t about how good or how bad the last Star Wars film was.

Hellbound Saga Book 1: Albador
Chapter 3 The forest flew past as Kyra and I ran as fast as we could back to the farm, as we got closer I began to smell the smoke and could hear the panicked screams of the horses, but I had yet to hear my mother scream again. Panicked as I was, every numerous possibility of what could of happened crossed my mind but not a single one seemed possible. It didn't take very long before we were close enough to see signs of the fire through the trees and the smoke started to surround us, then I could hear my mother pleading with somebody.

Outrun Stories #43
The world’s gotta pay, the world’s gotta pay, the world’s gotta pay, just going around and around and around in my head. Look what it’s taken, everything from me, everything and everyone that I ever had or loved and left me this shell, with nothing more than a loaded gun and a grimace across my face.

Brutalist Stories #43
Fifteen years since its birth and announcement to the world, and fifteen years since it vanished with no trace, and today it decides to reappear. Why today? Why make this moment so special, why this particular time? I can’t help but wonder if it holds some sort of special significance. If this thing, this AI, the Citizizen as it calls itself, is really so special, so grand, surely it would have picked some time in the grand cosmological calendar that made some sense?

The Last Jedi
I have been to three screenings of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the eighth entry into the Star Wars episodic saga and when I went into it the first time, I was feeling the hype that was left at the end of The Force Awakens back in December 2015 and after I left the cinema on the third screening, I had only one thought. What will happen in Episode 9? (THERE WILL BE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW.)

Jan 3, 2018: 3 Volutes (UFOs) in Tactical Vee Formation Over New Zealand
No sooner had we finished discussing an intercept between two Air Force F-15 Eagles and two Lithuanian SU-30 Flankers (here), that a story was posted showing the possibility of three volutes (UFOs) in a tactical vee formation over New Zealand (here). We have seen examples where extra terrestrial pilots use three ship compression tactics (here) whereas Earthling pilots use two ship conversion tactics as their SOP (standard operating procedure). What we want to do is change the format so that, when a sighting occurs, it does not always follow the same profile where everyone just says "oh is it a UFO" and then everything subsides because no one can prove what it is. Then the military will just deny it the way they deny every UFO sighting. By changing the terminology we use, and changing the way we describe the event, the civilian Earthling population can raise the level of awareness and force action to take place. For example, we can't say for certain the lights are actually vehicles, but we can say that during the video they exhibited the same formation as a tactical vee.

12 Blackened Petals Chapter 5
Chapter 5: Shock of it All Sam’s mind slipped into a flashback from twenty-four hours earlier. He stood on the roof of a building he had been looking at for weeks. He was studying it with special attention to the proximity of its neighbor. He was trying to size up the distance from one rooftop to the other. From the ground, it looked like ten feet. Also, it appeared that this building was about a five or six-foot height difference. Sam kept telling himself that this would be a piece of cake. He could totally make the distance. All he would need is about a twenty foot run up, and he could easily make the jump to the next building. At least, that is what he had been telling himself for weeks.
