Fish in Water
A fish presumably doesn’t know it’s in water. Other than the rare event when it might leap from the water to evade a predator, or even to become one, it lives primarily below the surface. This analogy is something that’s had me thinking for a good few months now, but in regard to human existence. It’s only a short essay but I hope you find it interesting.

Are the Olympics Extra Terrestrial Misdirection?
The possibility exists there is an infinite number of examples of misdirection taking place on Earth. The key is how do we look at as few as possible to clearly see that that is what is taking place so we can focus our attention on the bigger picture of trying to understand the

Five Must-Read Science Fiction Novels
If you’re anything like me, you probably find yourself scouring the internet every couple of months (or weeks...) in search of your next great read. While the web is a great source of inspiration and information, sci-fi queries wind up with the same old same titles unfortunately often. No disrespect to the brilliant Isaac Asimovs, Frank Herberts, and Philip Dicks of the genre, but with thousands upon thousands of blogs, journals, and social media pages dedicated to literary suggestions and reviews, why is it so hard to find some fresh titles in science fiction?

Does the Word Government Mean Mind Control in Extra Terrestrial?
When looking at the possibility of Hetlau we have found the EARTH methodology and wormation effective tools in trying to understand what their ETA is designed to look and function like here on Earth. One of the easiest things to see yet most difficult to comprehend is the possibility of the concept of Mind Control. When EA hear that term they immediately think of the sci-fi image of beams of energy being projected into someones head to place them under mind control.

Are the Mayan’s Correct? Are We Heading for an Environmental Catastrophe?
The world is heading for an environmental catastrophe. This essay will focus on the belief of some leading scientists and environmentalists that we are in the process of a sixth mass extinction due to global warming and its acidifying effects on the world’s oceans. Firstly, it will focus on the previous five mass extinctions, from the first one 434 million years ago that wiped out 60 percent of all genera according to fossil records; to the last one at the end of the cretaceous period, 65 million years ago – famous for wiping out the dinosaurs. Then it will introduce the reason some scientists now agree was a leading factor in all five previous mass extinctions – cyanobacteria, commonly known as blue-green algae. It will then go into more detail on cyanobacteria, what they are, how they work and why they are significant contributors to mass extinctions and why scientists believe they will be responsible for a sixth mass extinction. The beneficial properties of cyanobacteria will be discussed also. It will then explain what stromatolites are and why they were the focus of scientific studies. A brief summary of the hypothesis of John Rodgers and James Castle, of Clemson University, and the conclusion they reached following their two year study will be given. Finally, the article will discuss Thermohaline Circulation also known as the Global Oceanic Conveyor Belt. Its purpose and a description of how it operates will demonstrate its importance in keeping the world alive and the consequences of rising global temperature.

Telescope Filters
You’ve unpacked your brand-new telescope, lovingly assembled it, and waited like a child on Christmas Eve for the sun to set. Like many first-time sky gazers, you probably pointed the eye of your instrument toward our closest celestial neighbour, the moon. Perhaps your experience was interesting at first, then underwhelming and at worst, disappointing. The moon was a hazy white blur and the craters and mountains appeared to be nothing but grey splotches.

Life and Production: S1 E6: Earth's Dearth
In the World A clock struck six AM. In hurried mode, Holtzclaw Wert aroused from his sleep and proceeded to get dressed. At sixteen, he had already achieved the Presidential Medal for the Environment. He locked in on a career as a professor and excelled at his studies. From the first time that he encountered a leaf on his shirt as a four-year-old, Wert wanted to study plants. His time as a junior botanist and agricultural pupil prepared him to tackle the world around him, but something nagged him. Something was amiss in the world. Why did everyone want to burn fossil fuels and damage the sacrosanct ground beneath his feet and the trees surrounding him and the air he breathed? He wished that his hands could meld into the folds of a hollowed out stump. He fantasized for the moment where he could become a swamp and house all the newts and salamanders and enshrine himself in the solitude of a murky morass.

The Dream That Seemed Real
I have watched a good amount of TV in my life, so I have heard many different testimonies about people having experiences that they couldn't explain, dealing with aliens. As I have watched people explain over the years what happened to them, I usually think that they are just making up some colorful story to get attention. What I didn't know was this way of thinking would change for me, and for one unexplained night, it did.

The Dismantling of Saturn by Pluto
To live a life of exaltation. That was Saturn's only focus, and her focus gave her a sense of pride which masked the screaming monkeys that danced upon her frail shoulders. For it were these monkeys with whom she confided in among a sisterhood of Saturnian mind-folk — just as unusual as she. A sisterhood of control and restraint.
