Did the Ood Predict Capaldi and Whittaker's Regenerations?
A Healthy Skepticism As a long time Doctor Who fan, I remember being one of the skeptics back in the age of Matt Smith. "There can't be another regeneration! Matt Smith is the last one!" We did the number, we argued, we cried, we wept in the ashes all the way up until Moffat created a perfect excuse for there to be yet another regen.

Extremely Strange Sex Scenes in Sci-Fi Movies
Science fiction is all about the strange, the exotic, and the question of, "what if?" It's a genre of fiction that really allows us to explore all the different possibilities in every facet of human life—and that, fortunately or unfortunately, also includes sex.

Venus In Retrograde
When the planet that rules love, beauty and money just so happens to reverse it's spin every eighteen months, you could expect things to get messy on the love front, especially with this retrograde taking place in the dark, mysterious and moody Scorpio. And while it's a notorious time for turbulence in the romantic aspects of everyone's lives, it's also a time of reflection, of self discovery and figuring out what it is you truly want, that is, if you're able to keep your blinders on and trudge through the turbulent waters of this retrograde that started on October 5th and will continue until October 31st. What You Need to Know About Venus Retrograde in Scorpio
It’s that time of year again, when our deepest desires and romantic inhibitions are brought to the forefront for Venus’ forty-two days of retrograde. This particular planetary retrograde is known for its almost inevitable reemergence of long, lost loves and its tendency to bring the realization of romantic red-flags amongst even the luckiest in love. However, this rollercoaster is designed to bring the best you to the other side of the tunnel, setting you up to be sexy, swanky, and sultry to the most compatible candidates post-retrograde.

Review of 'Manifest' 1.3
A fairly interesting Manifest 1.3 last night, centering around the murder of a passenger on the flight that skipped forward in time, Kelly. It turns out that her death was apparently just a run-of-the-mill murder—by a significant other who didn't like how Kelly was treating her after the return—but the end of the episode provided a more important payoff for the overall narrative. Or, rather, a question: why did the Feds take her body?

My Favorite 'Star Trek' Movie Scenes from the Original Cast
'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' I love Star Trek : The Motion Picture, and the disembark from dry dock always blows me away. In 1979, the ole NCC proudly flashing its titanium left us a gasp. The lighted view, over the new score, gave us the time to pause and take in the Enterprise like we never had before. But what really does it for me is the way TMP feels like a TOS episode, and it begins with Kirk. In later installments, Kirk feels more like a consensus builder who rises only slightly above that of co-leader. In TMP, Kirk commands, and there’s no discrepancy.

A King's Predicament
The king stood on his balcony. His eyes watched his bride-to-be intently, not losing sight of her as she moved among the trees. He knew she was attempting to throw him off her trail. It made him chortle to himself. With a soft sigh, the royal gave her what she wanted. A distant, elated squeal sounded, followed by pounding hooves. Lady Etain (Ai-deen) rushed for the woodlands. King Conchobhar (Conko-var) retired to his chambers.
