Christopher Eccleston Was Inches Away from Returning to 'Doctor Who' in 2013
2005 saw the highly anticipated return of Doctor Who when writer, Russell T Davies, revived the show after it was cancelled in the 80s. Actor, Christopher Eccleston, was cast as the Ninth Doctor, who was accompanied by Billie Piper, actress of Rose Tyler.

The ancient Greek playwright Aeschylus uses the maxim "know thyself" in his play Prometheus Bound. In this play, Prometheus first rails at the Olympian gods, and against what he believes to be the injustice of his having been bound to a cliffside by Zeus. Oceanus comes to Prometheus to reason with him, and cautions him that he should "know thyself." In this context, Oceanus is telling Prometheus that he should know better than to speak ill of the one who decides his fate and accordingly, perhaps he should better know his place in the "great order of things. In other words "Know Thy Place."

'The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance' Captures the Essence of Thra
Another world, another time... 37 years ago, The Dark Crystal was released. It was a Jim Henson film with absolutely no humans onscreen, just pure puppetry. It felt familiar, incorporating tropes seen in such franchises as The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. But it was also alien, with its own mythology regarding such beings as the evil Skeksis and the mystical urRu. It truly did feel like another world, a strange one with charm. And now, people get to experience more of it onscreen via the Netflix prequel series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor Makes Epic Comeback as "The Doctor Falls" is Nominated for a BAFTA Cymru
Peter Capaldi played the Twelfth Doctor from August 2013 until December 2017, when he bowed out in the Christmas Special "Twice Upon a Time." For his final series as the Doctor, Capaldi was joined by Pearl Mackie, who played Bill Potts, and Matt Lucas, who played cyborg Nardole. The trio travelled far into the future and the past, battling many monsters, including the fan favourite Ice Warriors, the Monks, the Master and, of course, the (Mondasian) Cybermen.
