Understanding Artificial Intelligence Processes: How Do Machines Learn?
Artificial intelligence and machine learning are the hottest corporate buzzwords right now. Even industries that seem like a non-obvious fit for the first wave of AI technology, like wine subscriptions and skin care serums, have jumped on the bandwagon to stake a claim to technological superiority. Unfortunately, many of these solutions aren’t machine learning; they’re elegant algorithms, but they don’t learn from user input or real-time results. How do machines really learn? Take a tour of the characteristics of the machine learning processes that distinguish AI from static algorithms.

Photo by Gage Skidmore In 1978, Battlestar Galactica ran one season and 26 episodes. The Search
Chapter 1 - Starting again? “How many times are you going to wash that plate?” Maria asked me. I look at the white plain dish I have in my hand while I was cleaning it in the sink after dinner. Then I look back at Maria and it’s like I’m in a dream. I’m looking to this 4’9 beautiful Latina with short blond hair and nothing comes out of my mouth. I don’t know what’s going on. Here I am standing next to the sink and dirty dishes in my kitchen. Perfectly normal task of a regular day and everything is not the way it should be. How did I allow my life to get to this point?

Nothing is what it seems
Chapter one: The Distance We Go I remember it clearly as if it were yesterday, when it all started. It’s shameful how this got out of hand, so many lives lost, to those goddamn angel faces. I just wish I could just go back and prevent this from happening, (sigh) but i’ll tell how it all started, but it's gruesome as hell. Twenty years ago, in District One, the year was 2452. After years of research that had all started a couple hundred years ago, we had finally found the secret to pretty much everything we had ever wondered about. From Robotics, to light speed, to even populating different galaxies. But at a cost, we had no idea about our team consisting of John, Eli, Max, Jak, and myself; Were sent out to a distant galaxy known as Kronosphereon. No one had ever been here before, so we got sent out to go and explore a little take a few pictures, then head back home with the information we gathered. When we first got there, our orders were to check out at least three of the planets in that solar system. The first planet we got to was half empty, till you got to the parts that are full of life. Of course, life on that planet was warm and welcoming. They were glad to be of our acquaintance, they showed us around, hell we even got to meet their leader. She was a nice and calm person, so we talked to her and then after being greeted we left in search of the next planet need I mind telling you that their solar system is somewhat dark and stormy I don’t really know how the hell that works at all but i wasn’t worried about it at all see the thing is that me and my team wasn’t told was that we were in search of a planet that has something that earth needs something horrible but what i don’t know the next planet was kinda strange the ALF (Alien Life Form) there was kinda hostile but little did we know is that they were trying to protect us from what we would find which is exactly what we were sent here for so we killed all of those bastards but before the last one died he said you’re making a mistake you shouldn’t be here what you are looking for is going to be the downfall of your entire race I was shocked when hearing this at first then I snapped and i shot him four times in the head his blood splashed on to my face we walked in to their facility and got what we needed but before we left that galaxy we checked out one last planet it gave me an eerie feeling that something was going to happen to us like something was watching then captain mccall phoned in he said that the planet we were on had the other thing we needed but he never said what it was and we didn’t but he kept calling it “object x” but he sounded as if he was being pressured like something was bothering him when i asked he just nodded his head while saying yeah so we finally found “object x” it was small and seemed frightened but no matter what it kept a peculiar smile on its face with a blank look in it’s eyes as if it was hiding something about itself but what i couldn’t figure it out so we boarded the ship with that thing and headed for earth so we could drop off what we found at the lab so the scientists could work on the thing they were trying to so called “comprehend” or “better understand” we needed the angel face at the time known as “object x” for a little experiment we were going to create some of our own but no one was allowed to know how they were going to look or how they were made not even the government could see these scientist were basically what the churches were back in the 1400’s powerful and somewhat unstoppable and unquestioned so a few months passed and they were nearly complete after all those failed attempts they had finally found out what they were doing wrong so on their final experiment they had finally done it they created some angel faces of their own but these were different from the one that we found on that planet something just seemed a little off see the angel face that we found was smiling in an almost afraid kind of demeanor but these were completely different they had a sick and sadistic kind of look to their smile but you couldn’t tell they weren’t human they looked talked, walked, and even acted like us it was damn right scary but time came to pass and we started to be able to tell them apart from us we even got used to them but it still didn’t feel right though then a month’s time they started acting weird as if they were upset as if they were catching on to their origins as if they wanted to revolt against humankind but still they kept that sadistic smile man I tell you it scares the hell out of me but all they continued to do is walk around and go to work, shop, and go home just like we did keep in mind the original angle face which is what we started calling them around this time was still in the lab where we left him with the scientist but he didn’t actually seem like he did when we first found him he seemed possessed almost but I guess it was due to how he was treated while being experimented on with all the needles and DNA extracted hell I wouldn’t be happy either but he stopped smiling instead he had this blank look on his face dead like some would say everything was fine until one day he broke out of his holding chamber he didn’t attack in a way that would harm anyone he just did this weird thing where he would touch random spots on their bodies and they would instantly be knocked out but for some reason I was the only one he seen how fast was moving but before he left he looked at me with this weird look on his face then smiled for the first time in some months then he left and went into hiding no one had heard from it or even seen it again for quite some time it’s almost as if he knew that we were looking for him I guess we shouldn’t play god after all

We need to create an International Space Agency (INSA)
If we ever hope to colonize our solar system and eventually other star systems, then nations will need to work together and create an International Space Agency (INSA). NASA and the space command centers will make up the INSA and other nations that cannot afford a space program will be able to join. All nations that help in any way will be part of the INSA.

Neon
We'd been walking for awhile through the histricity streets--felt like about six HUnits--when we encountered an unusual sight: a lighted storefront. The lights were blindingly bright and colorful. They were twisted and curved into unusual shapes, a kind of text I hadn't encountered before.
