The Change
The people with power, money and status hoped things would return to normal. But the pandemic lasted too long. Thousands who had paid day by day to attend an office and bask in the status of not being one of those sweaty little people who worked outdoors, cleaned toilets or helped heal the sick learned that the little people mattered more to society than the squeaky clean office workers in bullshit jobs.

Summoned
Urug stares down at the lithe mage who had summoned him from the Place Beyond Places. Metallic dust had been set into an intricate circle and he’d roared out some incantations—a bit over-the-top in delivery, in Urug’s opinion. My Take On Star Trek: Picard
I just recently finished the first season of Star Trek: Picard. As a long time Trekker (or is it Trekkie?), I've been longing for a descent new Star Trek show. Despite its flaws, Star Trek: Picard was the first show in a long time I was excited about seeing once it aired. In fact, it was the only reason I even purchased Amazon Prime!
