From Darkness to Light

The year was 2050, and a great deal had changed around the globe. Technology has made it possible for humanity to advance more than anyone could have imagined only a few decades before. Cities have created sophisticated infrastructure and high-tech systems that made everything work seamlessly and increased their effectiveness, sustainability, and connectivity.

But for one woman, the future wasn't only about progress and technology. It was much more of a personal thing.

Due to a rare genetic condition, Maya has been legally blind since birth. Despite this, she had always been determined to live a full and independent life, and with the help of modern technology, she had been able to accomplish so. The city Maya lived in was a marvel of advanced architecture and integrated technology, where the buildings seemed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment, and the streets pulsed with the energy of a thousand interconnected systems. The city was called Nexus Hub.

In the year 2050, Maya was getting ready for a ground-breaking procedure that would give her her vision back. A novel kind of bionic eye was being used in the procedure, giving Maya the first glimpse of her surroundings.
