FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, what is the point!
Do we exist for ourselves ?

Prologue:
Have you ever wondered what the point of everything is?
I mean we live our lives every day; we wake up, eat breakfast, go to work or go to school, eat lunch, work some more, study some more, go home, prepare supper, eat supper, for some, watch a little bit of television, go to sleep and do everything all over again.
I mean, don’t you get tired of it?
Have you never asked why we’re here and why we’re doing all of these?
What is the whole point?
You might say, “Oh, it’s because you only do those things”. “Some of us actually have a life - we go to the mall, or we go to the gym, or we have hobbies, or we have a reading club, and so on and so forth..”
Yeah, I agree with you dumbass!
I am talking about the point of our existence! Why are we here?
We’re certainly not here to go to the gym, or crochet, or read, for crying out loud!
I mean, we’re born, we live, we die and the circle of life repeats.
If you believe in reincarnation, then you believe that after we die, our earthly bodies decompose; we become fertilizers to the earth. Our decaying earthly bodies get eaten by worms, worms gets consumed by birds or chicken, which then gets eaten by a bigger animal, which humans eventually consume.
So in short, we eat ourselves!
Is that the whole purpose of existence? To eat ourselves? To come back over and over and over again, each time a different person, or maybe even a different species, just to be eaten and be part of this circle of life?
Is there no more to life than just that?
Part 1 – Status quo
I am almost at the end of my forty-seventh year here on earth;
I am a mother, a wife and an employee.
I do “what humans” consider daily normal routine: I wake up, drink water (“they” say it’s good for you), I prepare my clothes for work, I take a shower, get dressed, prepare lunch for my kids, kiss my kids and my husband, get the keys to my car, drive to work, WORK, WORK, WORK, chat a little, eat lunch, WORK SOME MORE, send emails, go home, if I have time, cook supper, eat, watch a little bit of TV, sleep, then repeat the process over again.
Although you might call it “normal”, isn’t it a bit exhausting to be doing the same thing over and over and over again, ad infinitum!
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Or do you even think?
I have a full-time job that pays for bills, mortgage, car loan, food, etc, but what is the point?
I have a job that pays me to work; a salary that I use to pay for mortgage so we can continuously live in the house that we decided to “buy” to have a place to put our junks.
The salary that I use to pay for the car loan for the car that the BMW company let us use so we can give them monthly rent payment for it for several years until the car becomes what they call ”obsolete”, and would lure us into getting a new one, just because.
The salary that I use to pay for groceries to nourish our bodies, for kitchen supplies to be utilized in the not-so-often-used kitchen because we’re always never at home due to work.
The salary that I use to pay for the many soap, shampoo, tissue, paper towels, toothpaste, toothbrush that we buy to keep ourselves clean, so we don’t stink !
The salary that I use to pay for food in restaurants if I don’t feel like cooking (which is very often because I am already tired when I get home from work).
And if, after paying for all of these things on a regular basis, there is anything left of this salary, then we buy normal items like clothes so we have something to wear (after already wasting a lot of money buying signature brand clothes, signature brand shoes, signature brand perfume….signature, signature, signature……can you believe it ?)
And if, by some form of miracle, after paying for all the bills, and the mortgage, and the car loan, and the groceries, and the kitchen supplies, and the bathroom supplies, and the clothes, there is still anything left of this salary, then we take a trip.
But then again, what is the point? Is that life?
To work, to buy, to work, to buy?
