'Solo: A Star Wars Story'
It is no mystery that Disney is not happy with its most recent film in the "Anthology Series", Solo: A Star Wars Story, but is the movie actually bad? Does it deserve the criticism or the hate? To be fair it did not receive nearly as much hate as The Last Jedi did after release with an Audience score of 46% (Rotten Tomatoes), although TLJ did receive a 91% from critics. Solo, respectively, also received lower audience scores compared to critics with critics giving it a 71% and audiences giving it a 64%. So what we see here is that critics loved TLJ, generally "liked" Solo and Audiences haven't been happy with either of them, but Solo did do better. Now what does all of this mean and what does that leave for the future of Star Wars?

Han May Have Gone Solo in This 'Star Wars' Story but I Wasn’t
I said I wasn’t going to give out any more money to this bankrupt Star Wars franchise. But, I had hope for this Star Wars story, and when my friend suggested Solo to escape the obtrusive July 4th heat, I jumped at the chance.

Ranking the Star Wars Movies from Worst to Best
Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises in history. Even if you've never watched it, you have to have heard of it, and I am proud to call myself a...wait, what are fans of Star Wars called? Wookiees? Warsians? Oh, I remember – whiners and traitors.

Mara Jade (Green Tunic)
On the internet, I have become known not only as an actress but as Once & Future Queen Cosplay. Oh I know, that makes me sound full of myself, but I chose that alias because I am a die-hard fan of the Arthurian legend, and up until recently, almost everyone I cosplayed as was either a queen or would one day be a queen. That is, until I decided to finally go after my dream of being an official member of Rebel Legion.

Best Star Wars Theme Remixes
My son Jarret loves Star Wars. Whenever there's a new movie, which we are now blessed as a society to have on a regular basis, I talk to him about Star Wars. Since I get Jarret on the weekends as per the divorce agreement and all big releases come out on Thursdays now, Jarret's mom Valerie gets to see Star Wars with Jarret the first time he sees the newest one. But that means I get to be the one Jarret talks to after he's seen the movie twice!

The Worst of the 'Star Wars' Fan Base Are at It Again
A long time ago in a galaxy really quite near, George Lucas gave us the first Star Wars, and thus caused all nerds everywhere to explode with B-movie glee as the rest of the world started to think their weird shit was actually cool.

Running 'Solo'
Admittedly, I grew up on the "original three" Star Wars films. Admittedly, I had high hopes when the prequels came out, especially given the casting choices with Canadian actor Hayden Christensen playing the younger adult version of Anakin "Darth Vader" Skywalker. He is an outstanding actor—as seen in the TV series Higher Ground—but unfortunately, wasn't truly given a chance to shine in the films.

What Went Wrong with 'Solo' and What Does It Mean for Star Wars?
When Star WarsEpisode I: The Phantom Menace was announced, everyone became giddily excited at the prospect of a new adventure in the galaxy far, far away. However, when the movie released, fans were immensely disappointed at the lackluster acting, over the top drama, and of course, Jar-Jar Binks. Little did they know that such a display was to be the status quo for Star Wars for the next six years, as two more prequels came out that people were not very kind too. Naturally, people were disappointed that their beloved saga had been reduced to a melodramatic stage show in space. The fear that Star Wars would never recover would have surely been in people’s minds ten years later, as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens was announced. Yet, as we all know, the movie exceeded all expectations and gave the fans a glimpse at how Star Wars could live on and not let itself be defined by an era long past.

Han Solo Movie Review
Don't get me wrong I think Ron Howard put in some great work into making a great Star Wars story after Phil Lord and Chris Miller were taken off the project. I think there is much to be said about the work that they started on and I felt like a lot of the reshoots were done to eliminate some of the comedic dialogue and made the writing feel kind of awkward to me.

'Solo: A Star Wars Story'
(POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD) Solo: A Star Wars Story is one of the biggest box office disappointments in recent history. Currently, Solo: A Star Wars story is sitting at a paltry domestic earnings of $127,745,692 per (Box Office Mojo). Let's just say this is an underwhelming amount especially compared to the main Star Wars films. The question is, why?
