'Star Wars' Just Brought This Deleted Scene From 'The Rise Of Skywalker' To Life
Darth Vader has been a staple of Marvel's Star Wars comics. He is now on his third ongoing series, this one written by Greg Pak and set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. As has been the trend, there have been prequel connections and psychological study moments of the character that is Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. Given that this story has been coming out after the release of The Rise of Skywalker, there is also the opportunity for this series to tie into aspects of the sequel trilogy.

We Finally Have An Official 'The Empire Strikes Back' Timeline
For 40 years, Star Wars fans have wondered about the timeline for The Empire Strikes Back. Going by the events of the film, the amount of time that it seems to span can seem confusing. On one hand, the chase of the Falcon looks like it could have taken place within a relatively short amount of time, perhaps a few days. On the other hand, Luke goes through some rigorous training on Dagobah, looking tired and exhausted and learning different abilities such as lifting rocks. Surely it would make sense for his time on Dagobah to be longer than a few days. But the way that the film is cut and edited has long caused some confusion. Now, we have somewhat of an answer for canon.

George Lucas Created This Mandalorian's Name
George Lucas created Star Wars and named a huge chunk of it, but it turns out that's not all in the past. According to The Mandalorian's Simon Kassianides himself, his character's name, Axe Woves, came from Lucas himself. Debuting in "The Heiress," a group of Mandalorians make an appearance, led by fan favorite character from the animated TV shows, Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and including newcomers Koska Reeves (Sasha Banks) and Woves himself.

We Will Probably See A Boba Fett Show Before We See 'Mandalorian' Season 3
The Mandalorian season 2 may have only recently premiered, but it's come with its own new wave of rumors. The most recent one was centered around its cameo of an original trilogy favorite, Boba Fett (Temura Morrison). The Mandalorian is no stranger to references to the larger Star Wars universe for fans to find, but this has been the most blatant one to date.

The Real Reason Bo-Katan Wants The Darksaber
Every avid Star Wars fan knows about the Darksaber and how mysterious and important it is in the Star Wars lore. The Darksaber has some special qualities that the other lightsabers do not. It is one of a kind. This makes it long sought after. But one of the main reasons why it is so sought after is that if a Mandalorian holds the Darksaber, they can rule Mandalore, the homeworld of the Mandalorian clans. The Empire ruined the planet, driving the Mandalorians from their homeland.

The Purpose Of The Empire in ‘The Mandalorian'
On the latest episode of The Mandalorian season 2, “The Heiress,” there were a lot of surprises for the Star Wars fans around the world even within the 32-minute runtime. We see the reveal of fan favorite Bo-Katan Kryze played by Katee Sackhoff, who actually did the voice of Bo-Katan Kryze herself in the hit animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Then we also got to see a giant sea creature. But the biggest reveal of all was by Titus Welliver, who played the unnamed captain commanding a fully functioning Imperial cruiser and a large amount of well-armed stormtroopers. It was such a stark contrast with the look of the first season's battle-hardened stormtroopers on Navarro.

How George Lucas’ Sequel Trilogy Ideas Could Be Adapted
By now, you may have heard some recent tidbits about what George Lucas' sequel trilogy ideas would have included. We knew that he came up with the idea of Luke being in exile and dying in the middle chapter, as well as the idea of a young female Jedi being at the center of it all. But here are the key points we learned more recently: Leia would have been the Chosen One and the Supreme Chancellor of the New Republic, Luke would have started to rebuild the Jedi Order at some point, stormtroopers would have holed up on their own planets, and Darth Maul would have returned with Darth Talon as an apprentice.

Star Wars: Ten Best Volume I
Although the Prequels often give us fans a lot to complain about, you have to admit they’ve also provided a plethora of unique, awesome, and sometimes downright weird Jedi. The Clone Wars Series really gave personality to a lot of these figures, and made some of their deaths much more painful during Order 66. So without further ado, from the masters to the padawans, here are my Ten Best Jedi to appear before A New Hope:
