‘The Bad Batch’ Will Release May 4th
It was around this time last year that the final season of The Clone Wars was airing on Disney+. One of the arcs of the season featured a squad of elite clone troopers known as The Bad Batch. Some predicted that the characters would get their own spin-off series, and that was confirmed months later. Since then, we have seen a trailer showing that the series will begin around the time that the events of Revenge of the Sith take place.

When 'Star Wars' Showed General Grievous' Face And His Connection To The Force In Canon
One of the greatest Star Wars villains is General Grievous, the Separatist cyborg who collects lightsabers from the Jedi he killed for sport. He has quite a collection of lightsabers and has become a meme multiple times thanks to Star Wars. He is killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi via blaster in Revenge of the Sith. He has also been a part of the comics as well, appearing in one of his greatest in-canon stories: Star Wars: The Age of the Republic – General Grievous. This comic is a one-shot written by Jodie Houser and Luke Ross.

The 'Star Wars: Episode VII' We Never Got
According to Mark Hamill, the first time that he and George Lucas talked about Star Wars: Episode VII was in 1976, while shooting Star Wars in the Tunisian desert. Lucas told him then that he was planning on doing a grand total of four separate trilogies in the Star Wars universe. When Lucas asked about reprising his roll in Episode VII, Hamill obviously wanted to know what that would entail. Lucas told him "you'll be like Obi-Wan, handing the lightsaber down to the next new hope." Hamill's follow up question was when Lucas expected to be shooting Episode VII. Lucas' simple reply was "2011." Lucas' level of creativity and foresight when it comes to the Star Wars universe is virtually unparalleled in cinema. Only recently with properties like the Marvel Cinematic Universe have studios come close to what Lucas was aiming for back in 1976. Before he sold Lucasfilm to Disney, Lucas was beginning treatments for the next installment in the Skywalker saga, successfully recruiting Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher to reprise their rolls. This Lucas sequel trilogy would also center around the Skywalker/Solo family and their quest to rebuild the Jedi Order and defend the New Republic.

New Secrets Of The Sith Have Been Revealed By Palpatine Himself
To say that Palpatine had a lot of secrets is an understatement. Whether you're looking at Senator Sheev Palpatine, Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, or Emporer Sheev Palpatine, he's always seemingly behind the scenes manipulating everyone to get his own way for his own mysterious gains we rarely ever find out about directly. Whether you're looking at the films, the shows, the books, both canon and Legends, Palpatine being a mastermind behind the scenes is a constant for more years than his age would lead you to believe. When we were past six movies and looking on, we assumed we'd reached the end of Palpatine's schemes, only for The Rise of Skywalker to open up the can of worms all over again and reveal that the Sith had likely millions of secrets for us left to uncover that we don't know yet.

Temuera Morrison Gives Update On 'The Book Of Boba Fett'
One of the biggest surprises to come out of The Mandalorian season 2 was the return of Boba Fett, portrayed by Temuera Morrison both vocally and physically. He had portrayed Boba Fett's father Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones and provided Boba Fett voice work for the 2004 re-release of The Empire Strikes Back since Boba is a clone of Jango. So it makes complete sense that he would portray Boba Fett in the TV show. Even when he appeared at the end of the season premiere, some expected that he would not appear again in the season. But lo and behold, we saw him get an action-packed return and even play an essential part toward the end of the season, aiding Din Djarin and company in the rescue of Grogu. And then we were given a post-credit scene in which Boba Fett and Fennec Shand take what's left of Jabba's palace, culminating in the reveal of a title: The Book of Boba Fett.

Why Writing Out Cara Dune Is Better Than Recasting Her Character
In the wake of Gina Carano’s firing from The Mandalorian on February 10th due to her anti-Semitic post on Instagram, which falsely equated modern day conservatives with the plight of the Jewish people during the Holocaust, there have been many theories as to how the creators will tackle the departure of the former Rebel Shock Trooper and New Republic Marshall, Cara Dune. Her character had proven to be very popular previously, and it was hoped that she would continue on with her efforts in the Star Wars franchise for many years to come, possibly having her backstory explored further in an upcoming series like Rangers of The New Republic. However, after being warned numerous times behind the scenes about her behavior on social media by Lucasfilm, amongst others, Carano finally crossed a line she couldn’t uncross through no one’s actions but her own. Now, it’s left to the dynamic duo of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni to figure out how to leave the character behind, but still acknowledge her to some degree that would satisfy the audience. While many have suggested that recasting the part wouldn’t be a problem, the truth of the matter is, Carano is now synonymous with the character of Cara Dune. Therefore, Disney, the parent company of Lucasfilm, has been forced to take anything related to her character off the market indefinitely.

The Way Dooku Was Able To Turn The Galaxy Against The Republic
During the time of the Clone Wars, Count Dooku was one of the most important figures throughout the galaxy, as the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), also known as the Separatist Alliance. Although many believed the CIS to be the enemy, many systems in the galaxy believed it was the Galactic Republic who were the true enemy.

Should We Expect Cad Bane To Show Up In Boba Fett Series?
Star Wars: The Clone Wars introduced us to another legendary bounty hunter. Cad Bane was known for his characteristic gunslinger (or rather “blasterslinger”) look. He was always seen wielding a pair of blaster pistols and wearing the wide-brimmed hat. After the death of Jango Fett on Geonosis, he rose to become one of the leading bounty hunters in the galaxy.

The Top 10 Casting Choices For Grand Admiral Thrawn
Season 2 of The Mandalorian dropped some major plot point and characters. One of those characters that was just casually mentioned by Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) in “Chapter 13: The Jedi” was Grand Admiral Thrawn. Fans of the Star Wars Rebels show and Star Wars books know that Grand Admiral Thrawn is one of the most feared characters within the Star Wars universe. Fans also love him because of how cool, calculating, and evil he can be. Ahsoka Tano mentions that she is searching for him in “The Jedi,” and that is one of the many reasons that she cannot take Grogu to train him. This led fans to believe that Grand Admiral Thrawn would be a part of the live-action Ahsoka series that is coming to Disney+. In the beginning of January, there were very heavy rumors that Lars Mikkelsen, who is Grand Admiral Thrawn’s voice actor in Star Wars Rebels, was cast to play him in live-action. Fans were ecstatic over these reports, as his rendition of the character in the animated show is just so good.

Blood Feud: Mandalorian Civil War
Mandalorians stand alone among other beings across the entire galaxy. Descended from the ancient Taung people, great warriors who regarded peace as a sin, the Mandalorians have proudly upheld their combative culture for generation. Originally nomadic, the Mandalorians eventually settled on a planet they named Mandalore when a rare iron ore was discovered under the planet surface. Beskar proved to be a nearly indestructible tool of battle for the settlers of Mandalore. Forging legendary armor that would become recognizable across the galaxy, the Mandalorians regarded Beskar as a gift from their gods of war. There have been countless conflicts between Mandalorian clans over the centuries, including several planetwide civil wars. This article will focus on the Mandalorian Civil War that engulfed most of the planet 20 years before the onset of the Clone Wars.
