Dave Filoni Gives A Cryptic Update On 'The Mandalorian' Season 3
So with the arrival of Star Wars Day (May 4th), not only did we get the release of The Bad Batch, but it would appear we also got a little bit of a sneaky update on The Mandalorian season 3 from the main man himself - Dave Filoni.

'Star Wars: Darth Vader' Just Revealed A Disturbing Secret About Sith Lightsaber Crystals
Until 2016, it was canon that the Kyber crystals for Sith lightsabers were created artificially, with the dark side user putting the ingredients into an oven and applying his or her will onto them until they were formed and baked into the crystal. This changed with the novel Ahsoka by E. K. Johnston, where the term “bleeding” was first used with regard to lightsaber crystals.

Thoughts and Theories On 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch'
Star Wars and Dave Filoni made their triumphant return to animation with The Bad Batch on Disney+. It premiered on May 4th, and I can't think of a better time to launch a show like this. The show takes us back to everything we loved about Dave Filoni's original The Clone Wars series, but it adds enough new material to tell a new story. Before I go any further into the first episode, I want to clarify that there will be some spoilers for the episode ahead. It may only be the first episode, but there are some moments that might be better experienced with fresh eyes.

How 'Star Wars' And Marvel Made The Same Exact Mistake With The Same Actress
This may seem to come out of left field, but it is something that is interesting to say the least. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier recently wrapped up on Disney+. Erin Kellyman appears in the show as an antagonist to the heroes named Karli Morgenthau, who is a member of a group called Flag-Smashers. Rewind three years, and Erin Kellyman also makes an appearance in another Disney-owned movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. In that movie, she plays Enfys Nest, a secondary antagonist to a young Han Solo and the crew he are joined by. The intriguing thing about this is that Kellyman plays almost the exact same character in both stories.

'Star Wars' Suggests Luke Skywalker's Hand Ended Up On Exegol
One of the greatest mysteries within Star Wars is where Luke’s right hand ended up after his duel with Vader in Cloud City. Some of the questions that fans have asked have been answered throughout many books, comics, games, and other forms of expanded content. The whereabouts of Luke’s hand might have been answered in the latest issue of the Greg Pak's Darth Vader comic series, with the arc being titled "Into the Fire." The comic takes place right after Episode V and follows Vader being tested by the Emperor, as he is hunted down by Sith Assassin Ochi of Bestoon. Vader survives every test his master sends him, and this takes him to the ancient world of Exegol, which we first saw in Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker.

What You Missed From 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch'
The Bad Batch is here, and Star Wars fans are justifiably over the moon about the new animated show. Taking off where The Clone Wars Season 7 left off, The Bad Batch is visually stunning and starring several The Clone Wars veterans. Dee Bradley Baker and Stephen Stanton both reprise familiar roles while Dave Filoni is credited as the show creator. Fans of the Filoni's previous animated work can attest to the high quality of Star Wars stories that Lucasfilm animation has produced in recent years, with The Bad Batch seemingly following suit. No doubt every second of this show will be combed over for Easter eggs, references, nods, and callbacks. While we wait for the next episodes to drop over the coming weeks, here are several things you may have missed upon first watch of "Aftermath." Needless to say, this article will contain massive spoilers for the new show, so get yourself over to Disney+ and get caught up with events in a galaxy far, far away before reading further.

May The Fourth Fan Art Shown Off On Disney+
May the 4th is a special day for many. No, it is not just the day to prepare yourself for Cinco de Mayo happening the next day on May 5th. Among Star Wars fans, this day is known as Star Wars Day. The specific date is so christened as “May the 4th” because it sounds similar to the iconic line “May the Force be with you.” Star Wars Day usually passes by without much notice, but with the renewed attention on the franchise brought about by the sequel trilogy, and more recently, the immensely popular The Mandalorian, the all-day celebration is marked with many retailers offering special deals on Star Wars merchandise. With Disney’s acquisition of the Star Wars franchise, one would expect the media giant to plan a certain recognition of Star Wars Day.
