Why Anakin REALLY Lost To Obi-Wan On Mustafar
The duel between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar is one of the most iconic sequences in the entire Star Wars franchise. It is the point at which Anakin's fall results in the injuries that imprison him in the Darth Vader suit that we have all come to know and love. People knew that Anakin could not win, due to the existence of the original trilogy. But that does not stop people from speculating about why Anakin did not win the duel. Of course, there is the meme reason, which is that Obi-Wan had the high ground. But there may be another reason why Anakin lost the duel.

5 Star Wars movies Disney need to make!
Like many other people Star Wars has captured a large part of my life, from watching the prequels as a child my love and interest for Star Wars has never faded over 15 years later. This interest has only become stronger since the Disney purchase and the sequel trilogy.

George Lucas' Political Themes To Return For ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte' On Disney+
Next year will mark ten years since George Lucas sold his Star Wars franchise to Disney. Prior to the sale, Lucas imbued his original Star Wars Skywalker saga with his own political beliefs against a sci-fi space opera backdrop. Lucas built his simple story into a multi-billion dollar empire. Despite a board seat as part of the sale, Lucas had no idea how Disney would treat the Star Wars property. Would they keep his message, or would they embed their own?

Exciting Production Update For 'Star Wars: The Acolyte' Series Revealed
Many people are excited for the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series, and The Acolyte is no different. This will be an exciting turn for the Star Wars franchise. The prequel series focused on Anakin Skywalker and mainly highlighted his time while a Jedi and not a Sith. The Acolyte could give us the chance to see a novice Sith in training. It will also be a “female-centric” series, which will also be a pivot from other previous Star Wars series, though Ahsoka looks to be coming out first. Either way, The Acolyte looks to be breaking new ground in the Star Wars universe. For the first time, a live-action show in the Star Wars universe will led by a woman, both onscreen and behind the scenes, as Leslye Headland has been tasked with leading the upcoming series.

Darth Vader's Secret Weakness That No One Ever Knew About
Have you ever stopped and wondered what Darth Vader’s weakness is? He was this dark menacing figure that could crush your windpipes at the slightest provocation, and mercilessly strike you down with his scarlet lightsaber. While his grandson Kylo Ren’s angry tantrums were more amusing than fearsome, it was his quiet seething anger that sent chills down your spine. Most would guess that one could defeat him only by overwhelming him with brute strength. Perhaps a quick tap into the Dark Side of the Force could accomplish that (as Luke almost did in Return of the Jedi). However, Marvel’s latest issue of Darth Vader, which came out recently on June 23, revealed a more subtle weakness.

The Dark History of the Most Horrifying Star Wars Villain
For over four decades, the Star Wars universe has continued to grow exponentially, with no signs of slowing down any time soon. Following the release of Return of the Jedi, which ended the original trilogy, and the series as we know it (at the time), many authors and creators have written literally thousands of new adventures involving the main heroes introduced in the films. The story then continues in the prequel trilogy and shows such as The Clone Wars, Rebels, and others. We now have a whole host of characters existing within the entire universe, some of them incredibly powerful, and incredibly dark. Sadly, following the release of Disney's sequel trilogy, a lot of these characters are no longer considered canon, and have instead been relegated to what we now refer to as Legends. One such character technically exists within both Legends and canon. Her name is Abeloth.

10 Best Onscreen Lightsaber Battles in Star Wars
Star Wars is series about family, redemption, good vs. evil, and political intrigue. These topics and themes help make it one of the most memorable series out there, but the epic lightsaber duels make it all the more amazing. There have been some pretty amazing lightsaber fights through the years. Some have been better than others, but all of them are legendary for one reason or another. These are my personal favorite onscreen duels. I do want to note that I am only counting the encounters we see in the main live-action films. As much as I love the battles in Gendy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars series and in Luke’s scene in The Mandalorian, they will not be included in this list as the lightsaber scenes in the animated series, games, and shows could all have lists of their own.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Darth Maul
Introduced in the first film of the prequel trilogy, The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul sent fans into a frenzy. With his red and black patterned skin, horns, and extremely scary demeanor, Maul definitely looked like the kind of guy you did not want to meet in a dark alley. On top of all this, he got one of the coolest fight sequences onscreen and debuted the famous double-bladed lightsaber in live-action. Following the release of the film, this was one of the hottest toys you could get your hands on as a kid.
