Mars looks like a red planet, full of mystery, full of a sandy world, seemingly without a trace of life. To unveil the hidden secrets of Mars, China has also started the exploration journey of Mars, that is, the astronomical series of exploration missions, and last year, our Zhou Ron Mars rover successfully landed on the surface of Mars, and began to patrol the exploration.

More than a year has passed, and now finally came the good news, released the first batch of Mars exploration scientific research results, which surprisingly unlocked the secret of whether Mars has water, then this video today, I will talk to you about this topic.

July 23, 2020, Long March 5 remote four carrier rocket lifted China's first Mars exploration mission "Titian 1" probe, in China Enchanting space launch site ignition liftoff. After nearly 10 months of very long work, on May 15, 2021, the Titian-1 lander landed successfully on the Martian Utopia Plain.

Mars

As of September 15, 2022, the Sky Quest-1 Surrounded has been in orbit for more than 780 days, the Mars rover has traveled a total of 1921 meters, completing the established scientific exploration mission and acquiring raw scientific exploration data of 1480 GB. our scientists have obtained rich scientific results through the study of these independently acquired first-hand data.

For example, a breakthrough scientific conclusion was achieved on the question of whether there is water on Mars.

First of all, scientists have revealed an important link between the formation of the above-mentioned land forms and water activity through a comprehensive study of typical land forms such as concave cones, wall impact craters, and trenches distributed in the landing area.

Through camera images and spectral data, salts of water-bearing minerals, such as sulfates, were found in scabby hard-crusted rocks near the landing zone.

At the same time, the combination of camera images and information such as mobile ruts of Mars rovers reveals that the soil in the landing area has a strong compressive strength and low friction parameters, and is characterized by water activity and wind and sand abrasion.

In other words, there was a large amount of liquid water activity in the Huron landing zone about 1 billion years ago. At that time, Mars may have been a climate suitable for life. This leaves a lot to the imagination. Could it be that there was a lot of life on Mars in the past? So why is Mars now, again, barren? These questions are still to be further revealed by scientists.

It can be said that these scientific results reveal the influence of Mars' sand and water activities on geological evolution and environmental changes, and provide strong support for the conjecture that oceans once existed on the Utopian plains of Mars, enriching human scientific knowledge of Mars' geological evolution and environmental changes.

Moreover, the results have been published in Nature Astronomy, Nature Geo science, Science Advances, Science China, and other authoritative academic journals at home and abroad.

In addition, besides revealing the secret of Mars' once-existing oceans, the Sky Quest exploration mission has also made a breakthrough.

Recently, when the Sky Quest orbiter was near Phobos, our scientists used a high-resolution camera to image Phobos and successfully obtained a very clear picture of its "full moon".

Mars has two natural moons, Phobos and Phobos, of which Phobos is slightly larger, it is irregular in shape, has no atmosphere, and is the closest moon to its host star in the solar system. The origin of Phobos has been controversial in the scientific community, with some scientists suggesting that Phobos may have been an asteroid captured by Mars' gravity.

Because of the special nature of Phobos, several countries have implemented or proposed Phobos exploration missions. This is the first time that China has implemented the imaging exploration of Phobos, and successfully obtained first-hand scientific data on Phobos, which provides precious data for scientists to carry out research on Phobos topography and operation laws in the future, and also accumulates valuable experience for China's planetary exploration project.

In short, Mars is mysterious, especially in the network is often rumored that there are aliens, animals, artificial buildings, man-made objects, and even UFOs on Mars, all of which show that human beings are yearning for Mars. For example, the madman Musk has set an ambitious goal to achieve a human landing on Mars in 2029.

At present, China is developing from a space power to the direction of space power, for the exploration of Mars, we naturally can not lag, the future to establish a human base on Mars, or even Mars can be transformed into a habitable planet, I think these are no less than the power of the Chinese.

Of course, this needs to be achieved step by step, for example, first to achieve a manned landing on the moon, to establish a base on the moon, and then to achieve a manned landing on Mars, which, after all, is 55 million kilometres from the nearest Earth, while the nearest Earth to the moon is only 360,000 kilometres, so going to Mars, as far as the current human race is concerned, is a wish that seems unattainable. However, turning the impossible into possible. So let's look forward together to the day when we set foot on the surface of the Moon and Mars.
