AMUN-RA

Malcolm and his mother, Deborah live alone. One night, the image of the Egyptian God Amun-Ra visits Malcolm in a dream, suggesting that he is to do great things and the God will work through him, using a magic bracelet. Later, Malcolm finds the bracelet, transforming him into the armor and power of Amun-Ra, allowing him to fight crime. Malcolm's best friend, Freddy, has been taken over by the villain, Darkelious, Amun-Ra's nemesis. The Dark, as the entity is known, takes Freddy over and makes him do bad things that runs him afoul of the law. Episode ends as Freddy hides from the police and Malcolm, using his new found powers, is about to try and save his friend against the dark forces.

(SFX) AERIAL CAMERA VIEW

It's a sunny morning on a Friday. Summer is near. Malcolm and his mother live in an old two story Victorian house in a low poverty African American neighborhood. Children are huddled in groups corner to corner waiting for the school bus. Malcolm is 17 years old African American, physically in shape, slightly confident but not happy with his current life. His father isn't in the picture and Malcolm resents him for it. Deborah, 40 years of age whom is Malcolm mother is a single mom, no job and on government assistance doing the best she can to raise him. She has an uppity spirit person, with a sense of humor, and snappy responses.

DISSOLVE TO

INT. HOME - MORNING

BEDROOM:

AMUN-RA is animated.

He is walking out of a ball of bright gold light, partially in dreamy dimension and reality.

He is in Malcolm's bedroom.

Amun-Ra gradually began to walk up to Malcolm's bed.

Malcolm awakes, somewhat startled but amazed at the same time.

Malcolm sit's up with slight uncertainty.

Amun-Ra and greets him.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Amun-Ra:

Malcolm, I am Amun-Ra. I am coming to from ancient times. You are my relative from the future. You descend from an ancient Royal bloodline. Those among you are a lost people. It's up to you to help awake your generation. Use this bracelet, it will give you immense power and extra abilities along with a suit of armor. You must fight against evil and stop the oncoming destruction of many. The Bracelet will guide your conscience and the suit of armor will help you fight. Be brave. You are our only hope.

Malcolm responds while currently in a stake of shock and awe.

Malcolm:

I am!

CUT TO

Suddenly there is a silhouette at the bottom of Malcolm's bedroom door.

Amun-Ra quickly looks at the door.

He notices footsteps walking off after a few knocks and the sound of Malcolm's mother voice telling him to wake up.

Deborah: (O.S.)

Time to get up son!

Amun-Ra:

I must go now! Remember, you are our only hope.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Amun-Ra floats backward, quickly into the ball of light.

Malcolm look on speechless, as if it's unbelievable. The room begins to look dreamy.

He lies back down as looking like he's under hypnoses.

His mother beats on his door again as she passes by

collecting dirty laundry from the bathroom.

He awakes, his heart is beating rapidly.

He's looking left and right, even under his bed.

He then relaxes and drops his head.

As soon as he takes a deep breath, his mother calls for him.

Deborah: (loud voice)

Boy, get your butt up, before you miss this bus! It's your last month of high school.

He whispers under his voice as he is still tired.

Malcolm: (upset)

It's too early for all that. Stop yelling!

She somehow hears him and is shocked by his response.

Deborah: (O.S.)

I heard that!

Malcolm: (surprised)

Damn, how does she do that!

Deborah: (O.S.)

I heard that too. Don't get your butt beat this morning!

He rolls his eyes to the top of his head, and responds sarcastically as he slings the covers off him.

Malcolm:

OK mother! Man, that dream was crazy. I wish it was real though. I'm getting tired of this same old life every day. I need a new life.

He gets out of the bed and stands up.

Malcolm begins to scratch his head, stretch and yarn.

He then walk to his closet and began looking for something to wear.

INT. HOME -MOMENTS LATER

KITCHEN:

Malcolm walks into the kitchen.

He hangs his back pack on the dinner table chair and he sits down at the table.

Malcolm:

Mamma, what do you know about Ancient Egypt?

Deborah:

Well Pastor and the Bible said that Egyptians were bap people. That's enough for me, why?

Malcolm:

One, I think Pastor and the Bible is wrong, two, I was just asking, and three!

Deborah cut him off.

Deborah:

And three, you better get your butt out that door. That bus is about to pull up!

He grabs some bacon off the plate on the table, stuffs his mouth while running out the door smiling.

She reaches out to give him a love tap in a playful manner as she smiles.

Malcolm: (Cont'd)

Bye mom, I love you!

Deborah: (Cont'd)

No, it's I'll see you later. Don't you ever say bye.

That means forever.

Malcolm:

See you later mom!

Deborah:

That's more like it!

She walks to the front door and watches him run down the walkway.

She closes the door smiling.

CUT TO

EXT. HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

Malcolm runs down the walkway, to the side walk and towards the bus stop.

The bus pulls off, right before he gets to it.

Malcolm gives a slight chase then stops.

He suddenly stops and is out of breath.

Malcolm:

No, no no! You know you see me right here!

He looks around.

He then looks back at his house, hoping his mother doesn't look out the window.

Malcolm: (thinking)

Man, my mom is going to kill me if I'm late to school again! Wait, I know a short cut.

CUT TO

EXT. FORREST - MOMENTS LATER

LAKE SIDE:

He's in a closed in forestry area with trees on both sides of

He runs through a backfield, cuts through a construction site.

He then runs alongside a creek.

Suddenly he stops as hears a splash in the water.

He notices something in the creek.

It's bulky and shinny, sitting close to the edge of land.

He finds a stick nearby and uses it to get the object from the creek.

Malcolm: (curious)

What's the heck is this?

Suddenly he hears something dashing, speedily through the tree tops.

Malcolm: (startled)

Oh shoot! What was that?

He looks around cautiously.

Malcolm:

It probably was a bird or something? Anyway, I just found some serious bling. This thing is heavy. Looks like a bracelet. I wonder if the gold is real. Come to think about it, it looks like that thing from my dream.

He puts in his backpack then looks at his watch.

He rushes off to school before the bell rings.

CUT TO

INT. SCHOOL - MOMENTS LATER

HALLWAY:

Children are all about, socializing, running, playing and gossiping in the school hallway.

Malcolm spots his best friend Freddy who is also an African American 17 year old.

Freddy is sort of slacker who comes from prominent hard working parents, but also has a shaky relationship with his father.

Malcolm walks up to Freddy.

Freddy sees Malcolm coming and throws his hands in the air.

Freddy: (smiling)

Malcolm bra, you weren't on the bus, what happened?

Malcolm is upset and out of breath.

Malcolm:

Yeah that's because I was running behind it, FREDDY! You know you seen

me. You just think everything's funny huh?

Freddy:

On God, I didn't see you.

Malcolm:

Oh my God! Stop saying that. You don't even know God. You don't even go to church.

Freddy:

I do know God, how you going to tell me, I don't know God.

Malcolm:

Then quote something from the Bible!

Freddy ties hard to quote a Bible verse, but doesn't do so well.

Freddy:

Thou shall and the sheep. I will fear no, in the heaven spirit Amen in Jesus.

Malcolm shakes his head in disgrace.

Malcolm: (sarcastic)

Just stop right there, just stop. Dude, don't ever do that again, ever!

Malcolm laughs.

Freddy: (offended)

Man whatever! Come on let's get to class. The bell is about to ring.

Malcolm:

OK, but check it out. After class I got something to show you I found in the creek by the backfields.

Freddy: (being sarcastic)

I can see your future now. My boy Malcolm, is going to be a junk collector.

Malcolm:

Bro, I'm serious. Just watch, I'm going to show you.

The boys make it into class just as the bell ring.

INT. SPACESHIP - MOMENTS LATER

OUTER SPACE :

Meanwhile in outer space the Dark, a negative force are up to no good.

It's seeking to corrupt and destroy the minds of the young people in today's society.

It wants them to lose self respect, values, spirituality and faith.

It is actually a living being called Darkelious, who is from ancient dimension.

He also has minions that does his dirty work.

As his spaceship sits in orbit.

Darkelious is dressed in a black cape, and his face is like dark smog with red eyes.

He ponders while looking at Earth as hologram projected in front of him.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Darkelious: (anger)

Demon, have you found the children of the promise?

The demon responds from the hologram as dark smog with red eyes.

Demon: (O.S.)

Yes master, and we have been destroying them for a while now. Slavery helped break their spirits. We have made them feel bad for a very long time. Now all they want to do is feel good. Even their children's children feel the effect. We have presented to them various drugs and alcohol, unfaithfulness to their love significant other, viruses and diseases, murders, theft, confusion, hate, jealousy, and more master. They're easy to destroy but there is a new breed of them arising. Their minds are strong, they seek education and knowledge. Their spirits seem to have a high vibration. They are embracing Ancient Egypt. We may have a problem.

Darkelious:

Don't worry about them. Once I receive more souls, I will be able to complete my portal, and then I myself will be able to enter their realm. It is then; I will deal with them all directly. So, get back to work. All of you demons, and bring me more souls!

Demon: (O.S.)

HALLWAY:

The boys walk out of class.

They meet up in the hallway.

Freddy:

So, what's up, what's this thing you found? Let me see it.

Malcolm:

Not right here. Come on, let's go to the bathroom.

INT. SCHOOL - CONTINUOUS

BATHROOM:

The bathroom is surprisingly empty.

Malcolm pulls the bracelet from his backpack.

The two boys marvel in shock at what he found.

Malcolm:

The crazy thing is that, I saw this in my dream this morning.

Freddy:

What do you mean?

Malcolm:

An ancient Egyptian named Amun-Ra came to me in my dream this morning. He said he was going to give me this exact same bracelet and that I have use it to save our City.

Freddy responds with total disbelief, and gesturing with his hands in the air.

Freddy:

Here you go with that Egyptian stuff again. I told you don't be eating all that candy before you go to sleep. It'll make you have nightmares.

Malcolm: (frustrated)

Do you always have to say something stupid! Be serious just for once in your life, can you do that?

Freddy:

Bra, I am serious. Look at what you're saying right now. And on top of that, you believe it.

The bracelet begins to light up and glow in Malcolm hands while the boys are having a dispute.

Malcolm: (scared)

What did you do!

Freddy: (scared)

What do you mean. You're the one holding it. Take the batteries out!

Malcolm:

It doesn't have batteries!

The Glowing stops.

He hurry and puts the bracelet back in his backpack.

Malcolm:

That was weird. Look I have to go. I'll get with you later bro.

Freddy:

Be careful bra, on God. You don't know what that thing is.

Malcolm:

Stop saying that, seriously.

Freddy:

I'm just saying!

Malcolm:

I'll see you later bro. I'll text you.

Freddy:

Alright bra!

INT. HOME - AFTERNOON

LIVING ROOM:

Malcolm makes it home from school and runs straight pass his mother to his room.

Deborah mother is sitting in the living room watching TV.

Malcolm: (O.S.)

Hi mom!

Deborah:

Hey boy, slow down! That's why I told him don't be drinking that milk at school. The boy knows he's lactose intolerant.

CUT TO

INT. HOME - CONTINUOUS

BEDROOM:

Malcolm rushes into his room, and quickly get on his computer.

Malcolm: (moving fast)

I hope she paid the internet bill. Google is about to tell me something. I know what I seen in my dream.

DISSOLVE TO

After searching for a while on the internet, he stumbles across something.

Malcolm:

Boom! There it is! It's the ancient bracelet of Amun-Ra. His name means "the hidden one," "invisible," "mysterious of form," and unlike most other Egyptian gods, he was considered Lord of All who encompassed every aspect of creation.

The bracelet begins to light up again.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

A Hologram appears from out of the bracelet.

It is Amun-Ra.

Amun-Ra:

Malcolm, it's nice to see you again.

Malcolm is surprised and nearly falls out of his chair.

Malcolm:

Yo! are you serious, is this, is this real!

Amun-Ra:

Yes Malcolm. I am quite real. You have been chosen due to your bloodline. You are my ken. You come from a great family of warriors and royalty from my time. A lot of you in your realm are lost and don't know from whom or where you come from.

Malcolm: (shocked)

So, the dream I had, it was real?

Amun-Ra:

Yes, partially it was a dream Malcolm. I have more to tell you, but most importantly, there is a dark force from my realm that is purposely aiming to destroy your generation. His name is Darkelious, or as we call him, The Dark. He has the ability to cast demons into you dimension and ruin the minds of people. The more souls he collects, he can then create a massive portal that will allow him personally, to come into your world and cause total destruction. He must be stopped.

Malcolm seems somewhat curious.

Malcolm:

So, what does that have to do with me? What I supposed to do?

Amun-Ra:

Wear the bracelet and say the commands. You will take on the image of me. You will be transformed into my armor I use for battle. The suit will guide you. It will become one with your instincts and conscience. The suit comes with my mighty sword, a arm energy sleeve and three different entities with abilities of their own, you already have the bracelet. Most importantly, a device called the Purifier.. It will snatch the demon out of anyone and send it back to me. I will deal with it from here. Remember to always conceal your identity. I will always be on board with you. I can monitor your location, the location of some demons in your realm and guide you to them. You must fight without fear.

Malcolm: (uncertain)

I don't know if I can do all this!

Amun-Ra: (convincing tone)

Malcolm, you have to be brave. You have something in side you so great. This is only the beginning. There are others just like you.

Malcolm goes into a moment of silence.

He looks down at the floor in deep thought.

Amun-Ra:

You did say you wanted a new life this morning.

Malcolm:

You heard that?

Amun-Ra:

Yes I did Malcolm. I have always been with you.

Malcolm:

Always! Like, always always?

Amun-Ra:

Yes Malcolm, Always.

Malcolm thinks to himself about what Amun-Ra may have seen and feels slightly embarrassed.

Malcolm:

Oh MY GOD!

Amun-Ra:

Don't worry Malcolm. Your secrets are safe with me.

Malcolm places his hands on his head in disbelief.

He slouches back in his seat.

Malcolm then sits up.

Suddenly he becomes encouraged.

Malcolm: (confidence)

Amun-Ra, I accept. I will do it!

Amun-Ra:

Spoken like a true Prince. You will do just fine. I believe in you. You can contact me at any point and time. I have linked into that ear device you wear.

Malcolm:

Oh, my Bluetooth?

Amun-Ra:

So that is what it's called. Hmm! Modern technology, must be fun. Just say my name and I will respond. I can also come to you in present form.

Malcolm:

Like you are now? We call that a hologram. I'm going to have to school you to some things.

Amun-Ra: (clueless)

School me!

Malcolm: (expressive with hand jesters)

Teach you about some things here!

Amun-Ra:

OK, Great!

Malcolm:

Wow, so I'm going to be a super hero, that's way too cool.

Amun-Ra: (curious)

What is a Super Hero?

Malcolm's mother begins to call him.

He walks fast towards his bedroom door.

Deborah:(O.S.)

Malcolm, Dinner is ready!

Malcolm: (moving fast)

Never mind. I have to go, my mother is calling me. I'll contact you later.

Amun-Ra:

OK Malcolm. And remember to remain in secret. Over and out!

Malcolm:

I will, I got this!

Deborah is walking past Malcolm's room notices a light under Malcolm's room door, and hear voices.

Amun-Ra hologram goes away.

CUT TO

INT. HOME - CONTINUOUS

HALLWAY:

Malcolm steps out his room into the hallway and see his mother approaching his room.

Deborah:

Boy, who are you in there talking to, and what was that bright light under your door?

Malcolm: (hiding the truth)

Nothing and nobody mom, stop being so paranoid!

Deborah: (over exaggerating)

Paranoid! You better watch who you're talking to. Lord I hope you not on drugs. Not my baby, oh no! First, it's going to be the TV, then the microwave, then the hub caps off my car. Lord no! Please don't take my radio!

Malcolm:

Mamma, I'm not on drugs.

Deborah:

I know you not, because I will beat the breaks off you. Now come on and come downstairs and help with this laundry.

Malcolm:

OK, I'm coming.

Malcolm closes his room door.

Deborah: (O.S.)

OK baby. Mamma loves you.

CUT TO

She walks away and goes downstairs and Malcolm whispers to himself.

Malcolm:

Man, she's bipolar.

Deborah: (O.S.)

I heard that!

Malcolm:

Wow, how does she do that?

Malcolm opens his room's door and briefly looks back into his room.

He grabs his bracelet and tucks it under his sleeve then heads downstairs to eat.

CUT TO

INT. HOME - EVENING

LIVING ROOM:

It's a Friday night.

Malcolm and his mother in the living room folding clothes.

Malcolm and his friends are planning an outing to the movies.

Malcolm:

Mom you mind if I got out tonight, it's just to the movies with my friends.

His mother stops and gives him a quick lecture and a kiss.

Deborah:

Sure baby, but Malcolm, please be careful, and don't be a follower. Always listen to your first mind which is God, and follow your gut instinct. Remember, the devil wants what?

Malcolm:

The devil wants us to self destruct. I got it mom. See you later!

He gets up from the table happy.

Deborah:

OK boy!

EXT. HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

His friends are waiting outside, Freddy, Trina and Sabrina, his high school sweet heart.

He runs out the door and joins his friends.

It's a beautiful night, clear skies and the stars are bright.

There is music playing from various cars passing by, and random conversations from neighbors sitting outside.

Sabrina and Trina are with Freddy. Sabrina, 17 years old, African American is Malcolm's crush and soon to be highs cool sweetheart.

Trina, 17 also African American is Freddy's long time girlfriend.

Freddy:

Dude, you are so freaking slow. We been out here forever!

Malcolm: (saying maturely)

Patients is a virtue my friend.

Freddy: (straight face)

You seriously need to stop watching them old movies.

Sabrina: (bashful)

Hey Malcolm!

Malcolm: (nervous)

Hey SABRINA!

Freddy:

Alright enough of all that, we about to miss the movie, let's go!

The kids take off walking.

CUT TO

EXT. MOVIE THEATER - MOMENTS LATER

As they wait in line at the Theater, Malcolm notices a struggle taking place in a dark alley.

A woman is being mugged by a villain.

As Malcolm friends enter the theater, he spins off unnoticed back towards the alley and crouches down by a dumpster.

Malcolm speaks quietly to himself as he hides.

Malcolm:

It looks like that lady in the alley was in trouble. This is the perfect opportunity to test this thing out.

CUT TO

EXT. ALLEY - CONTINUOUS

He then takes off back towards the dark alley and hides behind a parked truck so he can transform for the first time.

Malcolm: (nervous)

I sure hope this works.

He gives the bracelet the command to transform him into Amun-Ra.

Malcolm:

Take Form!

SPECIAL EFFECTS

With in an instant, his whole body is covered with armor from head to toe, shinny gold.

Malcolm is amazed.

CUT TO

EXT. ALLEY - MOMENTS LATER

Malcolm walks out proudly from behind the truck.

With no hesitation he approaches the villain.

Malcolm:

Hey, you like picking on helpless women?

Villain: (shocked)

Who the heck are you!

Bravely, Malcolm assumes a fighting stands, and give the suit a command to engage in battle.

Malcolm:

Attack Mode!

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Malcolm knocks the villain to his feet with a vicious blow. The woman screams and runs off. Malcolm activate the Purifier and snatches the demon out of the villain. The villain body shakes and a dark spirit comes from his chest. The villain conscience becomes clear. He is just a kid. In fear and suspense, the kid runs off scared. The woman, also in fear runs off as well screaming, and without even thanking Malcolm.

Malcolm:

Hey I'm on your side! Most people say thank you! Man, she sure can run fast. Well that wasn't so bad. I think I got the hang of this. Oh shoot! The movie!

SPECIAL EFFECTS

The bracelet begins to vibrate.

Malcolm lifts his arm.

Amun-Ra hologram appears.

Amun-Ra:

Well done Malcolm!

Malcolm: (confidence)

Oh, hey Amun-Ra! I was a little nervous but I pulled it off. I think I can do this. That guy almost crapped on himself, oh and the lady too.

Amun-Ra:

Great job, I'm transporting the demon now, but remain humble young one. Every step of the way you will learn more about the suit. Go ahead and hurry to your friends. I will be in contact. Over and out!

Malcolm:

Over and out!

Amun-Ra hologram goes away and Malcolm transforms back into himself.

INT. MOVIE THEATER - MOMENTS LATER

HALLWAY:

Malcolm makes it into the theater in time to catch his friends.

They are standing around looking for Malcolm.

Sabrina: (concerned)

Freddy where is Malcolm?

Freddy:

Maybe he went to the bathroom, I don't know!

Malcolm quickly walk up to his friends out of breath.

Malcolm:

Hey wait up!

Sabrina:

Where were you?

Freddy: (sarcastic)

Yeah Malcolm, where were you?

Malcolm:

I dropped my wallet somewhere down the street.

Sabrina:

Well did you find it, and why are you breathing so hard?

Malcolm:

Well I didn't want to miss the movie, but yeah, I got it. I'm glad no one picked it up.

Freddy:

OK, can we go now, your Boo-Boo is here now Sabrina!

Trina:

Oh my God Freddy, you're such a crybaby. That movie isn't going anywhere. Let's go yawl.

The kids proceed to see their movie.

The movie is over and the kids leave the Theater talking among themselves about the movie in excitement.

DISSOLVE TO

EXT. HOUSE - NIGHT

On the way home, they stop at Malcolm's house first.

Malcolm:

A Fred I'll see you tomorrow.

Freddy:

Fashow bra!

Malcolm:

Good night Trina.

Trina:

Good night Malcolm.

Sabrina:

You mind if I walk you to the door?

Malcolm:

I was hoping you asked.

CUT TO

EXT. HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

Malcolm and Sabrina walk slowly up the walkway and talk.

Sabrina:

Hey I really enjoyed myself tonight.

Malcolm:

I did too, a lot!

Sabrina:

So, what are your plans after we graduate? Are you going to College?

Malcolm:

I was thinking about it. I really want to get a job, get my place, you know get out on my own.

Sabrina:

Here in town. Or are you moving?

Malcolm:

I don't know. It's just a thought right now.

Sabrina:

Well it's getting late. Are you going to text me to see if I made it home safe?

Malcolm: (nervous)

If you want me too, I mean sure, I was going to do that anyway.

Sabrina:

You are such a square Malcolm. But that's what I like about you.

Malcolm: (acting tough)

Really a square, me! Girl you just don't know.

Sabrina:

Goodnight Malcolm.

She surprises him with a kiss, she smiles then walks away.

Freddy runs up to Malcolm, before Malcolm walks in the house.

Freddy:

Bra did that just happened? I mean tell me I'm seeing things?

Malcolm:

No, that just happened. Fred I got to go in before moms start tripping.

Freddy:

Lucky man, you know you want to smile. Later bra!

Malcolm mother open the door.

Deborah:

Malcolm it's time to come in baby.

Malcolm:

OK mom, here I come.

Freddy:

Malcolm:

He looks at Sabrina one last time as Freddy walks down the walkway, and then he goes in the house.

The bracelet begins to vibrate and Malcolm runs to his room.

Deborah:

Make sure you get in the shower and come eat dinner!

Malcolm heads up stairs and contacts Amun-Ra.

Malcolm:

OK! Amun-Ra, come in!

Hello Malcolm! So, are you ready for a crash course on you armor and abilities?

Malcolm:

After dinner, I can't wait.

Amun-Ra:

INT. HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

KITCHEN:

Malcolm is in his pajamas.

He goes downstairs to eat dinner with his mother.

Malcolm walks into the kitchen and sit at the table.

His mother has the table ready.

She grabs Malcolm hand.

They both close their eyes and Deborah began to pray.

Deborah:

Lord, thank you for this meal, our safety, and you blessing everyday. Protect my son as he grow. And may he follow a straight path. Amen!

Malcolm opens one eye and peeps at his mother praying.

Malcolm:

Amen!

Deborah:

So, son how was your night with your friends?

Malcolm:

Exhausting! But we had fun. The movie was great.

Deborah: (curious)

And, is that your girlfriend, Sabrina right?

Malcolm:

Mom!

Deborah:

What! I have to ask. You are my only son.

Malcolm:

Correction, I'm your only child.

Deborah:

Yep and that's all the more reason to be concerned about the choices you're making. So, tell me about this Sabrina.

Malcolm:

She's a good person, serious about school and her future.

Deborah:

Malcolm positions himself in the middle of his room, and says the commands to transform.

Malcolm transforms and his face mask switches to the face of a Falcon with wings appear.

The suit is guided by your conscience. You don't have to do much but focus. Say "Take Flight" and go now!

Malcolm lifts in the air in the middle of his room and takes off through the window into the night.

EXT. CITY - NIGHT - TRAVELING

Malcolm if lying over the City.

He is a little shaky at first but eventually he get the hang of it.

Woo! This is way too cool.

He looks back at his house while in flight.

Malcolm:

My mother is going to kill me. That's if I don't die flying.

Amun-Ra corresponds with Malcolm as he flies.

Amun-Ra: (O.S)

Malcolm you're doing great. Do you see the coordinates?

Malcolm can see the coordinates in his mask.

Malcolm:

Yes, I'm the area now!

Malcolm moves at excessive speed just as a Falcon along with super vision.

EXT. PARK - MOMENTS LATER - TRAVELING

He approaches a park and happens to see his friend Freddy being chased by 3 guys.

Malcolm:

Oh no it's Freddy! Who are these guys? They sure picked the wrong person to bully! I'll surprise them from behind.

Malcolm swoops in and land for the attack.

He gets instructions from Amun-Ra to change faces.

Amun-Ra: (O.S.)

Malcolm, use the ability of Anubis for a swift attack. It's the face of the dog.

The park is dark, with only light from new nearby street poles.

Malcolm lands and transforms into Anubis.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Malcolm:

Anubis! Attack Mode now!

Malcolm engages in battle and grabs the first guy.

He throws the guy against a tree.

Malcolm:

Take that coward!

Another tries to run but Malcolm is to fast and catches him.

He throws him on top of the first guy by the tree.

Malcolm:

And where do you think you're going!

Malcolm walks up to the third guy.

Malcolm:

Hey you, fight be me you bully!

He grabs the guy by his collar and walks him over to the other two guys by the tree.

Malcolm corners all three, and pulls out activates Purifier on his upper arm to take their demons away.

Their conscience becomes clears.

The guys run off scared and petrified.

But As the demons are sucked into the Purifier, Darkelious looks through one of their eyes and notices Malcolm's suit.

What! Who was that? Well that suit looks quite familiar. Amun-Ra! Hmm, Then let the games began.

Malcolm then approaches Freddy as he hides behind a bench.

Malcolm: (disguising his voice)

Freddy! I mean hey you, I sensed you needed help. What are you doing out here alone at this time?

Freddy: (afraid)

Don't eat me!

Malcolm:

I'm not going to eat you

Freddy:

hey, how do you know my name?

Malcolm:

I don't. There's no need to be afraid of.

Freddy:

I could have sworn you just said my name.

Malcolm:

It's just the paranoia. Look man, go ahead and get home. It's dangerous out here.

Malcolm switches back into Horus and take flight.

He heads back home. Freddy takes off running in a state of uncertainty and panic.

I could have sworn it said my name. I know it said my name. Mamma!

INT. HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

BEDROOM:

Malcolm makes it home right on time.

His mother is headed for his room.

He scrambles back through the window and hurries to bed as if he's been there the whole time.

His mother tries to open the room door but it's locked.

She knocks on the bedroom door.

Malcolm gets out of bed with he cover wrapped around him to unlock it.

Deborah steps into his room looking skeptical.

Deborah:

Boy you don't pay bills in this house to any lock doors!

Malcolm:

Sorry mom, I didn't mean too.

He says walking back to his bed with the cover wrapped around him.

Deborah: (Cont'd)

Now I know your getting older and have to exploring your little happy hour with yourself.

Malcolm cuts her off before she can continue.

Malcolm: (Cont'd)

Mamma that's just nasty!

She sits on the edge of the bed and talks with Malcolm.

Deborah: (Cont'd)

Well I got you smiling. Look I understand how you feel about your father. Just take baby steps, OK. Give yourself a chance to see what you might be missing. He has a lot to teach you. He's a great man, and he is just trying to do what he is supposed to do. You are his only child.

She leans over and gives Malcolm a hug and kisses him on the forehead.

He wraps his arm around his mother and recognizes he's still wearing the bracelet, so he rushes his arm back under the cover before she notices.

And take these dirty clothes off and hop in the shower, you smell like a park. You must be crazy lying in this bed with them on. Now I have to wash these sheets again.

Malcolm jumps right back up.

He contacts contacts Amun-Ra using a whisper voice tone.

Malcolm takes off the bracelet, wraps it in a towel and hides it on his closet shelf.

Deborah:

Deborah has the table prepared and plates set out.

They boys sit down at the table and start to dig in.

They look around the neighborhood as if they're tired of seeing the same scenery everyday.

They both look up and see a car approaching with an older a driving it.

He's a middle aged clean cut and a hard working man.

He has the look of a construction worker.

Thomas:

Thomas sits on the porch, smiles and looks at Freddy.

Meanwhile Freddy is walking home.

The Dark has sent out demons lurking about to captivate venerable individuals.

A demon is in the street drain looking at Freddy.

It's dark smog and red eyes peeps out the curb side hole.

It floats to Freddy unseen and seizes the moment to enter him.

The dark smog seeps into Freddy's nostrils.

Freddy stops, and his conscience becomes dark.

Horrible ideas begin racing through his mind.

He can't control his thoughts.

Freddy grabs his head.

Demon: (O.S.)

Look at that purse on the seat in that car. Break the window and get it!

Freddy:

Oh snap! Somebody left their purse in that car. I need something to bust the window.

Freddy tries to snap back to himself.

The demon is too strong and continue to influence Freddy.

Demon: (O.S.)

LIVING ROOM:

An elderly lady are about to star her morning routine.

She sits in the window and watches the birds and traffic while sipping her tea.

Her husband sit in his same old chair flips through channels on TV.

Purse Victim:

Honey come look. What is this young man outside doing? It's like he's looking for something. Did you look the car doors?

Freddy finds a rock and before you know it, he sends it right through the car window and snatches the purse.

Purse Victim:

Oh no honey! He just broke the window and he took my purse. Call the police!

INT. SPACESHIP - CONTINUOUS

OUTER SPACE:

Darkelious has notice what happen.

He is intrigued by Freddy's actions.

Well well well! What do we have here? It's the young man our little hero previously rescued. He doesn't hesitate. I like what I see. I have an idea. I think I will make this one my personal priority. INSANITY!

Darkelious call for one of his stronger demons, INSANITY.

Darkelious:

Insanity:

Yes, my lord.

Darkelious:

Travel through the portal and take this host. Captivate him, become one with him. Increase his negativity and grow stronger. I have a plan fro this one.

Insanity:

The demon Insanity goes through the portal to present time and jumps right into Freddy.

Insanity immediately pushes out the other demon and it floats away to look for another host.

His mind begins racing.

He takes the money out the purse.

The Demon speaks to him.

Insanity: (O.S.)

Freddy, go finds some drugs. Get as high as you want to. You will enjoy it.

Freddy:

EXT. ALLEY- DAY

Freddy finds a dealer in an alley full of abandon cars with missing parts and graffiti everywhere.

The dealer is in his early 20's.

He's a fast talker and manipulator.

Dealer:

What you want kid. Wait, I know you. What's up Little Fred?

Freddy:

I need something. Whatever you got' I need it!

Dealer:

Calm down! What's going on with you? When did you start using?

Freddy:

Look enough with the questions, do you got something or not?

Dealer:

The dealer hands Freddy the drugs and Freddy hands him the money, in fact too much.

Deborah is home folding laundry.

Her phone rings.

Purse Victim: (O.S.)

Good morning Deborah. I don't mean to bother you but have you seen little Freddy, the one your son hangs with?

Deborah:

Not since earlier. He left when my son left with his father, maybe 30 minutes ago. Why is everything OK?

Not really. I just seen him break my car window and take my purse.

Deborah:

Malcolm:

His face looks puzzled.

I think something is wrong with Freddy. I think something happened. Mom said she'll tell me when I get home.

I don't know. She sounded kind of worried.

Thomas:

Malcolm:

Malcolm calls Freddy.

The just rings.

Malcolm ends the call.

Yea dad, something's wrong. He always answers my call, and I mean always.

Thomas:

Have you ever assumed a responsibility but wasn't sure you made the right choice after it was too late.

Thomas:

Yes, when I was younger, I had a job or two that I really didn't like, but I had you on the way so I had no choice, but do what I had to do. Why what's on your mind?

Nothing I was just thinking about getting a job too, but I'm not sure I'll like it.

Thomas:

Sometimes it's not about liking it. At your age it's only right to have some responsibilities. It's about experience. You know character builders. Just whatever you choose to do, make sure you fulfill your obligations. Don't back out.

Thomas:

Well you know there's an old family rumor that my great, great grandmother used to talk to Amun-Ra on a daily basis. I thought it was just old bed time stories. It turns out those stories were true. My mother had an old stone that had out family tree roots on it. We are related to Amun-Ra. A few years ago I did one of those ancestry things online and traced our roots back to Giza Egypt. Yep! 84%. Giza is where the Great Pyramids are.

Malcolm:

So you mean to tell me I'm part Egyptian?

Thomas:

We both are. Listen, there are many great mysteries out there. A lot the world doesn't understand. They had honorable rulers, and bad ones. The bad ones caused the destruction of the Egypt. They chose not to follow the rules of God anymore and brought total destruction over the land after a particular ruler enslaved beat, tortured and murdered God's special elect, the Hebrews. This happened after King Herod let them settled there. The Hebrews were born athletic. They had gladiator competitions and the Hebrews starting winning a lot. The Hebrews started gaining so much wealth, that the current ruler of Egypt became fearful that they would take over. So he eventually turned on them.

Malcolm:

Thomas:

Yea it's a lot to be learned, and understood.

Malcolm:

Sometimes I feel it's a great part of me.

Thomas:

You should. That same blood is pumping through your veins.

Freddy ideas are getting worst.

Insanity has him running a muck.

Freddy is pasting back and forth.

His skin is dark and sweaty.

His eyes are pitch black.

I need a gun. Who has a gun? Oh yea, dad, he has a few.

INT. GARAGE - DAY

Freddy heads home.

He sneaks in back door of the garage and looks in his father's chest in the garage.

He steals a gun.

Freddy:

I don't think you'll miss this father. Look at it as you look at me. Just something around you pay no attention to.

He then leaves back out the way he came in.

He runs up the street and turns up into a alley.

Freddy starts to look for the nearest bank he can rob.

CUT TO

INT. CAR - AFTERNOON - TRAVELING

Meanwhile Malcolm and his father heads home.

Malcolm:

Dad, I really enjoyed myself. I was wrong about you.

Thomas:

What you mean?

Malcolm:

Well I kind of told mom that I though you didn't care about me.

Thomas:

It's not that. I just had a tough time getting on my feet. Me and your mother had to separate in order to get our lives together. Our financial problem caused a lot of tension between us and we would argue all the time. But you two were always on my mind, all day, and every day. I love you son, and I still love your mother, but that's between you and I.

Malcolm:

I love you too dad. I wont tell mom, that's our secret.

Thomas pulls up to Malcolm's house and parks.

Malcolm gets out the car and walks into the house.

His father watches him go int he house and then he pulls off.

INT. HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

LIVING ROOM:

Malcolm goes in the house.

His mother in the living room watching.

Malcolm sit next to her for a short moment.

Deborah:

So, did you have fun?

Malcolm:

Honestly, I did. He's is really cool. And he likes Egypt like me.

Deborah Eyes roll to the top of her head.

Oh yes, he does. He used to always talk about Egypt this, and Egypt that.

Deborah is worried about Freddy.

Her face is uneasy but Malcolm isn't paying attention.

Malcolm's bracelet begins to vibrate under his sleeve.

He creates an excuse to run to his room.

Mom, I got to use the bathroom, and I mean bad.

Malcolm get up and runs to his room.

INT. HOUSE - AFTERNOON

BEDROOM:

Malcolm runs to his room.

Malcolm, we have a serious problem. Your presence is needed immediately!

Malcolm rushes right back out the front door.

Malcolm wait, we didn't talk about Freddy. Where is this boy going, it's too much going on right now?

She rushes to call his phone.

His phone is in his room ringing.

His mother can hear the phone.

EXT. CITY - MOMENTS LATER - TRAVELING

Malcolm find a hiding spot behind a old vacant house to transform.

He immediately take flight.

Malcolm, I just uploaded the coordinates. Did you get them?

Malcolm:

Yes, I see it's the local bank. I'm headed there now.

Malcolm lands on the roof top of the bank.

He changes Anubis the Dog.

Malcolm enters through the ventilation system of the bank.

INT. BANK - CONTINUOUS

Malcolm peeks through the vent and sees the last thing he expects to see.

It's Freddy, robbing the bank.

Malcolm:

Amun Ra, come in. I just went through the ventilation system to get inside undetected. It's Freddy, he's robbing the bank. What has gotten into him? i thought we were looking for a Demon?

Amun Ra: (O.S.)

The Dark has his possessed. Malcolm be safe and conceal your identity. He is not the same person you know anymore. Be extremely careful!

Malcolm:

OK, got it. I'm engaging now.

CUT TO

Malcolm burst of of the ceiling ventilation and land in bank terminal.

Freddy is on the other side of the bank.

He looks up at Malcolm.

Malcolm: (Cont'd)

Freddy, stop!

Freddy:

Once again! How do you know my name?

Insanity: (O.S.)

Kill him Freddy!

Freddy shoots at Malcolm.

POW POW!

Anubis is too quick and Malcolm's armor is bullet proof.

Malcolm doesn't take any chances.

Malcolm ducks and dodges the shots, whiles doing so Freddy makes a getaway.

Malcolm:

What the! Bro, you shot at me!

CUT TO

EXT. BANK - CONTINUOUS

Malcolm gives chase but Freddy Demon is also fast.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Malcolm:

This can't be Freddy, this guy is too fast. Stop now!

Freddy looks back and fire more shots at Malcolm.

Pow!

Malcolm:

OK, and more shots. He's really trying to kill me.

Amun Ra: (O.S.)

Malcolm, take flight now. Get out the public's eye. Let him go for now.

Malcolm:

"Hours now, Take Flight"!

EXT. GRASS FIELD - MOMENTS LATER

Malcolm lands in an empty grass field.

He transforms back into himself.

He paces back and forth breathing heavily.

He is puzzled and confused.

He touches his ear piece and contacts Amun-Ra.

Malcolm:

That couldn't have been Freddy. Amun what's going on?

Amun Ra: (O.S.)

The Dark has possessed Freddy and unleashed a powerful Demon. I suspect he's up to something. Why choose this particular Demon for your friend. By all means you must conceal your identity or he will know exactly who you are, or your family and all you know will be in grave danger.

Malcolm:

OK, this just got real!

(SFX) Ariel view camera circles Malcolm

INT. HOME - AFTERNOON

Malcolm mother is at home in the living room watching the News and sees the latest uproar.

BREAKING NEWS: (O.S)

Purse snatching suspect Freddy Haynes has also been identified as the recent Bank Robber at the town's Local Branch. And to add to the story, there seems to be a vigilante in pursuit of Freddy Haynes. The heroic individual seems to be dressed as an Ancient Egyptian Dog or Bird, described by some witnesses. Stay tuned for more updates.

Deborah:

Oh my god, what is this? What the hell! That's Freddy. What is going on with this boy all of a sudden? Where is Malcolm?

Deborah reaches for her cell phone.

She dials Malcolm's number.

PHONE CALL:

Deborah:

Hello! Malcolm , where are you?

Malcolm: (O.S)

I'm on my way home now. Is everything OK?

Deborah:

Honestly know. You need to hurry and get here. Don't make no extra stops, OK?

Malcolm: (O.S.)

Yes ma'am. I'm on my way now.

Malcolm transforms into Horus and takes off from the grass field.

INT. WAREHOUSE - EVENING

Freddy finds refuge in an abandon warehouse.

He watches the news from an old TV that was left inside.

He catches the broadcast of his recent actions.

The news has cell phone footage of him and Malcolm.

He notices the bracelet on Malcolm but can't recall where he remembers it because the demon has his conscience under control.

He then hears voices and seeing visions repeating something in his head vaguely.

It's the moment when his and Malcolm were in the bathroom looking at this bracelet.

Voices in Freddy's Head: (O.S.)

Take the batteries out, make it stop, take the batteries out, make it stop,

Freddy can take it anymore, yells and kicks the TV over.

Freddy:

Stop!

He grabs his head with both hands, gradually looks up and his eyes are red.
