Rayniah Jones

In her first outdoor season as a collegiate competitor, University of Central Florida's Rayniah Jones is having an awesome year. She won her first conference title at the American Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 100-meter hurdles at 12.76. She also scored points for her team with fourth place finishes in the 100 meters and 200 meters races. Jones' top time of 12.73 in the 100-meter hurdles was recorded at the Knights Invite on April 24 and is currently the fastest time in the NCAA for a freshman this season. More impressive, Jones' top time is third best in the entire NCAA. She kicked off her outdoor season winning every race in her first three meets. She competed in the 400-meter relay and 100-meter hurdles in three of those meets, the 200 meters in one.

Jones finished her high school career in 2019 at Miami Southridge as the Florida 4A state champion in the 100-meter hurdles.

Maquila Norman

Ball State sprinter Maquila Norman has had a successful career since she began competing in the 2017-2018 season. At the 2020 Mid-American Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, Norman became a conference champ when she won the 200 meters crown with a time of 23.87 which was the second fastest time in Ball State history. At this year's outdoor meet Mid American meet, she was a runner-up in the 200 meters.

Norman found more success in relay races in 2021. She was a part of wins in the 400-meter relay at this year's Rocket Invitational, Bob Harris Open, Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational and Blizzard Buster meets.

In high school, Norman shined at Lutheran West High School in Garfield Heights, Ohio. She was a five-time All-Ohio honoree and won nine conference championships.

Robertson also collected runner-up finishes at the Knights Invite and USF Bulls Invite in the high jump and the Southern Miss Invitational in the triple jump. She kicked off her collegiate career back in 2018 with a high jump win at the Clemson Opener.

Robertson was primed to be a medalist at this year's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference outdoor meet but COVID-19 restrictions prevented her team from competing. Despite the set back, Robertson owned the MEAC's top triple jump mark for the season with her leap of 12.36 at the Knights Invite meet.
