How Much Is Too Much Masturbation?
Those who know me by now know that I talk about the heavy subjects not many would like to talk about. For me though, this is exactly the type of article my nasty mind loves to read. Some TMI moments are in this article, so if you feel uncomfortable, just know that I warned you.

Uncontrollable Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome
Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS), is a real medical condition that primarily affects women. PSAS can probably be compared to priapism in men. Priapism is an erection lasting for more than four hours and is considered a medical emergency for men. Constant sexual arousal, unrelieved by sex or orgasm, is the defining characteristic of this disorder. This is a very serious condition that is very stressful for the one who suffers from it.

Let's Talk About Sex, Baby
Safe Sex *Photo by Thought Catalog on Unsplash Any good discussion on sex begins with at least a brief review of safe sex. Well, safer sex. Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Sexually Transmitted Infections (STDs/STIs) are an unfortunate reality of unprotected sex, and can sometimes be transmitted even when you think you’re being safe. Every act of intercourse—whether vaginal, anal, or even oral—should begin with a fresh, snuggly fitting, and properly worn condom. Make sure there is a reservoir at the tip, no air trapped inside, and it’s rolled all the way down to the base of the penis. A dental dam should be used for cunnilingus or anilingus. Fingers should be covered with latex gloves or finger gloves if there are open wounds on the hands/fingers. Gloves may also prevent bacterial infections or lacerations caused by jagged fingernails.

I Got Chlamydia When I Was 17
Backstory Most teenagers don't think about the consequences of their actions, and when I was 17, I definitely didn't either. As a teenager, I did some pretty stupid and questionable shit (hence how I got an STI). I was no stranger to experimentation with substances and strangers.

Sexual Expectations
From as far back as I can remember I was told how I should act, what I should wear, what was expected of me, what I needed to provide, and how I should make things right when they go wrong. The pleasure that I feel is not my own, but comes from the pleasure that my partner gets from me. Sit still, look pretty, show a little, but too much because if you do it is your own fault for whatever happens next. The burden of a female can be too much to bare at times. It's hard to navigate your own sexual wants and desires when society has been telling you for years what is okay and what is not. The more people I talk to, the more I find that I am not the only one who has struggled between personal and societal expectations. Do I want the things I want because it's what I like, or is it because that is what has been drilled into my brain for years?

The Truth About Incels
Over the past year or so, there has been a new word creeping into the erotic scene. Incel. After checking its definition, it made no sense at all. An incel is a man who is involuntarily celibate. Grandma's and gay best friends in romcoms always say "there's a lid for every pot," so if that's true, why can these guys not get laid? The answer was laid bare for me.

5 Things to Know About Stealthing
"I'm kind of a good girl—and I'm not. I'm a good girl because I really believe in love, integrity, and respect." That is how Katy Perry describes herself and her views on sex. The important here should be respected, if a couple agrees to have sex, all of the terms should be met. There is a new trend that is upending that trend called stealthing.

Do Me Raw
"Must be DDF (Drug and disease free) and into raw sex," so said one dating profile, and the person claimed that he was looking for a husband and a partner to spend the rest of his life with. His profile proclaimed that safe sex was not an option, so "don't even ask." What? Dating has always been weird but as of late, it has become even more twisted. Since when is raw the only way to have sex? And why is it that way?
