Onlyfans

It’s been three years now since I’ve started an account on Onlyfans. Honestly it has its ups and downs. I think the hardest part is to gain followers but once I have them they stay for a few months. Which is great for me, obviously.

I completely understand the controversy behind the whole sex industry.

Is really that bad though? I get that alot of the porn industry is unrealistic but people need to understand the amount of prep and editing that goes into the industry.

Back to Onlyfans, it isn’t really about sex or the porn. For me at least. It’s a chance for me to have a spicy page to express my sexuality in a positive way. I could stick to Instagram and have pg/ pg 13 content but the benefit of this is I get paid for it.

One major thing about Onlyfans- for me at least. All of my fans have been supportive and positive- they may point something out but are always very nice and helpful. This helps me grow as a creator and they receive better content through the time they are subscribed to me.

I have heard of horror stories from other content creators through YouTube or TikTok; where people are not as nice. I don’t think that’s entirely fair or nice at all. Why spend the money if you’re not going to be nice.

I’ve always wanted to be a model since I was little. I would ask if I could be and was told no. I promised it wouldn’t interfere with school or chores, it was still a no. As I became a teenager and started to grow into my body, it was still a no with more excuses.

I gained some weight in my late teens and was told no one wants to see a fat model. I dropped the topic after that. No in my late 20s I was told about Onlyfans and was intreged on the idea. I learned about what is was meant for and I was signed up a week later.

I like the fact it’s a paid subscription. Which means that no one will see my modeling unless paid for. I also understand the dark side of onlyfans as well. People screenshoting my photos and now saved in there camera roll but I’m alright with that. Sorta.

But this gives me a boost in my ego and self confidence of myself and my body. Knowing that people are willing to pay to see me. It’s not like it’s free to see me modeling. Which makes a difference.

Will this be a forever thing? To be honest, yes. People keep paying and I’ll keep modeling and posting on the page. No one will pay for somethjng if they didn’t want to be there.

Would I ever consider going to an agency and properly do modeling? I’ve thought about it and probably not. I mean, if an offer fell in my lap than maybe yea. But I’m not actively seeking out to become a model full time.

Onlyfans does make for a great passive income for me. It allows me a chance to focus on writing and art. It’s a chance for me to to be able to afford to keep up with these things. I enjoy writing and painting but it’s so expensive to do. Especially being an artist- they’re serious when they are talking about starving artists. Having hobbies like onlyfans, writing and art that pay for themselves is amazing. Who doesn’t love that idea? Now if only they could become a source of income. That would be the day wouldnt it?
