Romy was in the bathtub. The water had been reset three times now. The first time was when she was pouring herself another helping of champagne. Some of it had spilled from the bottle and made a small puddle of beige bubbles on the floor. She’d watched them for a little while, tilting the flute of sweet bubbly to her lips. Her toes scrunched the rear lip of the porcelain and she let herself lean all the way back, the sudsy water obscuring the view of her naked lower torso.

Roscoe wants an experiential truth, a truth immediately perceived and understood, without the complex linguistic and cultural twists of logic, which are mandatory in most religions and philosophies.

Why Men Are Attracted To The Female Form
A Scientific Analysis I have to confess I am as much a victim of being attracted to the female formas the next man. And I am still not entirely sure why. Sure I've read around the subject some, but I really do not feel much the wiser for it. Yes I can understand the visual and tactile pleasure of the female flesh. And yes I accept that it is probably something to do with my mother breast feeding me as a babe in arms. But what the hell that has got to do with causing me to have an involuntary erectile reaction I'm blowed if I know, unless of course you subscribe to the Freudian idea of the Oedipal complex. Still, making out with your mom aside, that does not explain the correlation between a woman's body and a male reaction. If anything it is Pavlovian at least in practice. Somebody suggested cultural mores and tribal inculcation. But I think it goes deeper than that. It has to be something to do with pre-programmed male neurones, in the gene making stage, sending signals to the muscles.
