Tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear she lifts her hands and cups my face. I could feel her breath on my lips and smell the minty scent of gum or toothpaste. She brought our mouths together softly and she took her time, the kiss unhurried or forced.
"Very nice." She told me while stroking her fingers down my cheek. "Would you like to play with us?" She asked, and I nodded.
Smiling, she said "good. Jaxon is in the woods already. We're going to play hide 'n seek. When you find us we can celebrate. Now close your eyes again and count to twenty." I did as I was told and the little clearing went silent.
"Twenty!" I say and open my eyes confidently. I know these woods like the back of my hand. I'm sure I will be able to find my prey with ease. As I start off down the path my mind is full of delightful imagery, wondering how we will celebrate once I locate them.
I walk for about five minutes and then stop in the middle of the path and close my eyes. I've always been better at sensing people without the interference of my eyes. As I stand there I focus on my other senses. The animals of the woods have returned to their normal chatter and I don't hear or smell my quarry. But as I turn I can FEEL the hairs on my arms stand up. I open my eyes and stride off in the direction ahead of me.
In only a few moments I see a flash of colour and adjust my direction. Closing in on someone. Suddenly I hear a twig snap behind me and I realize that while I am hunting the girl, someone is hunting me. My pulse kicks up and I glance around seeing nothing.
I step off the path and pause for a moment. Trying to decide whether I will let whoever, most likely Jaxon, catch me. I think that is not the point of the game so I take pains to cover my tracks as I go. Now the hunt is on in earnest. Knowing I'm being hunted is just as thrilling as doing the hunting. Being both predator and prey at once is exhilarating.
I know that there is a small stream ahead that curves through the woods with a clearing on both sides. I head for that spot feeling like it would be a good place to get caught. As I come through the trees I see her sitting on a fallen log smiling at me expectantly. Just as I'm about to step out of the trees I hear a noise behind me and am scooped up by strong arms around my waist.
Nearly triumphant I groan in frustration. I was so close to winning!! I turn to look at my captor as he holds my hands behind my back and see intense brown eyes staring back at me. When I lick my lips to say something his gaze shifts to my mouth and the words dry up on my tongue.
"Jaxon! Don't scare the girl!" I hear the woman call, and Jaxon grins at me, pulling me forward I stumble roughly against his chest. His arms tighten around me and I am steadied for just a moment before his mouth crushes down onto mine. "Oh my!" my brain completely derails and already aroused from the hunt I press against him greedily. I feel a gentle hand on my shoulder pulling me away and I turn to look at the woman.
"Kneel," she says and I immediately comply.
