How To Make Sales On ManyVids

Sex work can be a lot, doesn't mean it has to have the freedom and fun sucked out of it.

When it comes to sex work, the first site that comes to mind is OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform where everyone, but mainly adult content creators go to post their work and monetize off of it via monthly prices. Yet, despite it being such a huge site, there's some people that don't know what ManyVids is. ManyVids is an adult content site that is one of the most judgment-free, open, welcoming sites that allows content creators to post their work and express themselves freely.

You might be thinking, "Oh, so like PornHub?" Not exactly. ManyVids prides itself in only allowing ethical and legal content. In fact, every time something is posted and uploaded, it asks you if there's any co-models in each and every clip and if there is, you're required to fill out paperwork to prove that everyone is of age and consenting. I found ManyVids years ago when I start diving into phone sex. Since the age of eighteen I've been an on and off sex worker until I lost my job at a local restaurant almost three years ago and was trying to find anything to do that would help me get back on my feet. A couple days after I was terminated from my job, I had remembered that an old friend of mine that used to be on Tumblr was open about her job as a female dominatrix and makes her money off of doing phone sessions on the site NiteFlirt. So I signed up on there and then TalkToMe and began hustling and raking in money with each call I took. I started to see my pay rise within weeks. Starting off as a submissive phone sex operator and then eventually diving into femdom.

But like any business, it started slowing down. Whenever a new model comes into the scene, via phone sex, content creation or camming, men automatically flock to them to play with the shiny new toy. And if they like them bad enough, they'll pay whatever it takes to get their attention or get off to their content. Well, men eventually got their fill of me and calls started to slowly die down. Which I figured it would happen, so I put my nose to the grindstone and began thinking of new ways to earn. I was really loving my new stay-at-home career, but I knew I couldn't solely rely on just being on the phone. That and my stripping days, I knew were a thing of the past.

So I ventured out, and looked up new ways to earn. That's when I found content creation. But being new to this side of the sex industry, I was scared of showing my face. I also thought, since I knew nothing of amateur porn and only professional production companies that you had to show your face. But needing the money, I just went for it, making clips that didn't show the majority of my face, but merely just my nose and lips. My first set of clips were low-quality ones, really just me dipping my toes in the water. But before I knew it, I made a sale off of me playing with one of my toys orally. I was shocked because I just started. But figured, all right let's try some more.

Eventually I found myself comfortable with showing my face so I began making different kinds of fetish clips, then invested in actual roleplay ideas, plots, as well as lighting equipment, backdrops, video-editing apps and more. With all of that, comes marketing ideas I've picked up along the way in my career. So here's what I got to share with you.

1. CUSTOM CLIPS AND GENITAL RATINGS

If there's one thing that men love more than anything, it's getting things made just for them and pretty women and femmes telling them what they think about their junk. Guys love to see their fantasies created and brought to life. So make sure to open up that service on your channel. Because not only are you making these certain clips for certain fans, you can post these clips on your channel as well to further monetize off of them.

2. CREATE A MV CRUSH AND A MV MEMBERSHIP

Like OnlyFans, ManyVids has a subscription-based part on every creator's channels to open up and monetize off of. It's called MV Crush. The set up is pretty much the same, monthly rates depending on what the customers want and the ability to post pictures and videos exclusively for your fans to see. The only difference when it comes to videos between MV Crush and OnlyFans, is that your clips cannot be longer than five minutes on MV Crush. Where as OnlyFans it can be as long as you want. MV Memberships give you the ability to make certain vids that are publicly on your channel exclusive. Like MV Crush it gives you the ability to price how much you're offering via monthly rates.

3. PARTICIPATE IN CONTESTS

Almost every week to week and a half ManyVids creates a contest with brand new themes (for instance cosplay costumes, contests based off of seasons, everyone showing off their favorite sex toy, etc). This gives you the ability to have exposure and be seen by so many fans. It also gives you the ability to get paid votes. With paid votes, you can advertise an exchange of prizes depending on the price. For instance, when you post your contest photo, in the description you can put "$5 votes-get 5 nudes, $10 votes-get 10 clips, $20 votes-lifetime snapchat, $50-all clips free" or something to that sort of idea.

4. BOGO SALES AND DISCOUNTS

Every month I have monthly bogo sales and certain discounts depending on the deals I create. Not everyone can afford the more expensive clips you create, especially during certain times of the year (like the holidays, or even take into consideration, this whole year and COVID's vice grip on it). Creating bogo sales brings in the money and also reward your fans with so much more.

5. SET YOUR MV STORE PART OF YOUR CHANNEL WITH SNAPCHAT DEALS, PANTIES, SOCKS, COSTUMES, ETC

On ManyVids, not only are you able to create content but you have a section on your channel to open up a store where you can sell your snapchat, dirty panties and socks and more. You can literally sell almost anything in your store, even if it's art you create. Your store doesn't necessarily have to be just for sexual-based items.

With everything being said, ManyVids is an incredible site that I call home and have made a lot of good money on. For beginner content creators starting out, I definitely recommend this site to work on. It protects you, doesn't judge you and the staff is incredible if you need assistance. The traffic on ManyVids is also phenomenal so even during slow weeks, you can see even small sales come in. Also understand, that even if you are a sex worker that doesn't want to do this line of work and just makes content out of survival, ManyVids understands and makes a safe home for you to create. So go thrive and make your bag. Sex work can be a lot, I know, but it doesn't mean it has to have the fun and freedom sucked out of it.
