how the sugar baby world got ruined

the truth from a former baby

By Lena BaileyPublished 5 months ago 3 min read

I want to write this post to educate people on what a sugar relationship really is or should be verses what you it had turned into. I want to also vent my frustration over what it had turned into.

So just so we are all on the same page, I will tell you sugaring should be or what it used to be before it was ruined. Sugar dating or sugaring is a relationship where one person receives money or gifts in exchange for intimacy and companionship. Literally you are dating for money and other amazing things like trips. It was really that simple.

What it has turned into is sex work. Girls start just doing cam girl stuff, phone sex and prostitution. I don't judge, I just think we should leave everything separate. Actual sugaring sites could be shut down due to illegal activity (which prostitution is). The new girls also have gone outside of the sugar websites to find sugar. They use tinder and FetLife for sugar which annoys the men on those sites and possibly makes dating harder for people who are not sugaring.

The popular seeking arrangements (also known seeking) became just a regular dating site now. According to google "this evolution aligns with the values of Gen Z and Millennials, who seek clarity and consent in their relationships." What this tells me is that the people who feel this way don't understand sugaring. Communication is key in the world of sugar. If you get into any relationship and things aren't clear or you don't consent to things that are happening than you shouldn't be in the relationship. There is clarity and consent in sugaring. There has to be especially since money is involved.

Now there are still websites for sugaring, you just have to do your research. I'm available to answer questions. Girls will use dating apps like tinder to find sugar daddies which is wrong. Not all older men are sugar daddies, plus I don't think true sugar daddies would be on a regular dating app. Girls also use FetLife for sugar relationships, but sugar is not a fetish.

Let's get into what separates sugar from other things. What separates prostitution from sugaring is sugaring involves more than just sex and it is ongoing. Sugaring is different from cam girl because cam girls are more closely related to porn. It's like porn on demand or phone sex operator for the digital age. Also the difference between Fetishes and sugar. Fetishes very rarely have to do with money and sugar always has to do with money. The main fetish having to do with money is findom. There are also pro Doms but that is more of a job, not a fetish. When a findom gets money is a sexual release for the one giving the money.

Where I think some of this came from women wanting sugar relationships without giving up "the sugar". In some arrangements the sugar is more than sex. The sugar could literally be you just being arm candy. Repeat after me: the sugar doesn't always mean sex!

I think also that some of these girls were too entitled or rude to be sugar babies and so they turned sugar into something it's not. I've talked to a lot of these girls, and I've seen enough to say what I said with confidence. They're stubborn and don't want to listen to anyone.

What a lot of this boils down to is that people are misinformed. People sometimes won't admit to being misinformed and educate themselves. I can try to educate people, but I can only do so much. I can't change people's minds.

I hope this made sense. As always I'm available through my email which is on my profile on here.
