Ditched for ER
An almost perfect romantic evening

Emily walked into the bedroom and was stunned by the elaborate romantic setup: rose petals on the floor around the bed, pink heart-shaped candles burning the rose and magnolia smell, and soft romantic music in the background, with the great Barry White crooning at the moment. On the bed, there was a new apricot-colored lingerie set that included a laced bra, panties, and a delicate translucent robe.
Brad came up to Emily, hugged her from behind and said, “I wanted this to be an after-dinner surprise.”
“Oh wow, babe, that’s a lot of prep! Gimme a minute,” Emily said, playfully kissing him on the lips. She gently pushed him out of the bedroom and closed the door. Listening to his steps heading back to the kitchen, she quickly took off her uniform and put it on the hanger in the closet. She then took the lingerie set off the bed and went to take a shower.
While in the shower, she thought through her day, smiling in amusement and puzzlement. She was in one of the two cars that had been called in for the backup on the potential murder scene. The officer from the neighboring town sounded so serious on the radio that even though it was not their jurisdiction, Emily and her partner decided to ride in for the backup as they were close by. When they arrived at the scene, Emily saw her colleagues snickering and cackling. When she realized why, her stomach dropped. She recognized her husband’s doll right away and thought about the embarrassment they both would live through if somehow it became known that it was Brad’s doll. She would hear no end of it from her cop buddies…
Emily put on the lingerie and went to the kitchen. Brad was warming up the steaks in the oven. When he turned around to see Emily, he was stunned.
“Honey, you look gorgeous! I’m a lucky man!”
“Yeah? Thank you for this outfit, babe. I like it a lot.” Pleasantly embarrassed, Emily came up closer and ran her index finger down Brad’s nose and lips. He leaned in to kiss her, but she ducked under his arm and said, “I’m kinda hungry now. Let’s eat first, it would be a shame to waste those steaks.”
It took Brad a lot of effort to switch his thoughts from Emily’s allure to dinner. Taking a deep breath, he escorted her to the seat at one end of the table and sat her down, like a true gentleman. Then he served the steaks and sat down at the opposite end. They toasted a glass of red wine to their first kiss anniversary and had a pleasant conversation eating the steaks.
When Emily was done, she got up and slowly went around the table to Brad. She sat on his lap, facing him, and said, “I’m ready for the desert.”
“Oh, babe, I didn’t get any de…” he started. She silenced him with a kiss on the mouth, “I mean this…”
“I’m so clueless,” Brad said after a long and passionate kiss. He got up and carried Emily into the bedroom, locking his loving gaze on her eyes. He carefully set her on the edge of the bed and devoured her perfect look, taking off his clothes. She started slowly dancing to the music (Nora Jones now), sliding out of her robe to the rhythm. They were both getting into it now, dancing and gently caressing each other’s bodies.
When the tension became too much, Emily threw Brad on the bed and straddled him on top. Still in her new bra and panties, she suddenly reminded Brad of Serena. He just now realized that the set he’d bought for Emily was almost exactly like one of the outfits Serena came equipped with. Shocked, he closed his eyes, pretending to moan with pleasure while Emily was kissing his neck, chest, and stomach, going lower and lower.
“Serena would never do that for me!” Brad thought as Emily kissed him down there. Appalled by his own thought, he bolted.
“Are you ok, babe?” Emily asked, shocked by his sudden move.
“Yes, honey,” he said, trying to regain his composure. “Just wanted to do the same for you.”
He flipped Emily to face him, undoing her bra in one smooth move. Emily raised her eyebrow in surprise, but he playfully forced her to lie down. He started to tenderly massage her chest and breasts and kissed and gently sucked her nipples, one at a time. He then kissed and licked her tummy. When he pulled her panties down, a whiff of familiar smell hit his nose. It reminded him of the scented oil he used on Serena.
“Se…” he moaned, almost lost in his own world, and then something else triggered him. He sharply raised his head and asked Emily, “Where did you get this oil?”
“Don’t remember. D’you like it?” Emily replied, not wanting him to stop.
“I don’t know. I think it makes my nose and throat itchy,” he said, feeling more constrained. “Does it have rosehip in it?”
“I don’t know, why?” Emily asked, watching her husband struggling to breathe.
“I’m allergic to it,” Brad was able to push out with great difficulty.
"Who the f*ck is allergic to rosehip?" Emily didn't say out loud. She jumped off the bed, quickly put on a sweatshirt and pants and called her cop partner Rob. It took her a minute to help Brad put on his bath robe. Needless to say, instead of finishing their romantic evening on a high note of a simultaneous orgasm they spent much of the night in the ER, where Brad was given a shot and monitored for a couple of hours. All this time, they both couldn’t stop thinking about Serena.
Author’s note: It took me two days to write this part, but I’ve finally finished it! I needed to write something for the Filthy Community and this seemed like a perfect opportunity. But every time I attempt to write romance with sex scenes it turns out so cheesy it’s almost cartoonish. Therefore, the abrupt and unexpected ending. Read it as a parody or satire, if you will. I’m off to write the next part.

After I read 'took off her' I had to go type away on my other screen. I couldn't help but notice how natural you made it. Her entering the room, him coming up behind her. I could even see the door closing. Wait... So she... Welp. I love the fact that you allowed her to go through all her thoughts in the shower. That's also very realistic. Oh flip. The tension. Seriously Lana. How are you doing this? This is GREAT and what is this the third installment. Don't worry I will go back and check. Everybody needs to read this. Including the peeps in the grave. Oh my GOSH. Ahhh!!! This is... It's similar to. So that means that ... Oh my gosh it makes sense why he's having a... 👏🏾 🤣🤣🤣 The oil. Lol I can't even be TURNT right now without the itch of laughter coming up. 🤣🤣🤣 Who the f*ck. Aaaaahahaha!!! My family is still trying to wake up so I am trying to be quite. You made my morning with this. Somehow I feel vindicated. I totally get you on the filthy stuff. I won't even bother to try it either. It might end up having cheese all the way through it. 🤗❤️👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I wonder if Brad and/or Emily will ever find a way to 'properly discard' Serena 😁without amnesia
Oh shit! Emily knows about Serena! Omggg, I wonder if Brad would find out that Emily knows hahahahhaha
I see this is part of a wider story, and I was left wondering what she's done with her embarrassment over Serena. I don't think you needed to get flustered though, I think you could see the actual through just fine.
Lk - How could you not get romantic with a Barry White tune rolling over in your head while in bed. Coincidence: I’m dating a juicy relative of Serena’s Jk
