Zane’s Hero

Zane’s parents were both deaf and never spoke a word. They would only communicate by doing sign language, so Zane only communicatedwith his hands, not by words. Zanes parents died tragically when he was 4 years old.

Zane went to many foster families who didn’t want the boy. They thought he was different and unlovable. Molly, the social worker took Zane into her care until she could find him another home.

When Zane started kindergarten, all the kids made fun of him because he couldn’t speak One day, a boy called him stupid and Zane started to cry. That is when Joey, the school janitor saw the boy

“ What wrong, why are you crying? “.

Zane looked at Joey,but couldn’t speak a word.

Ten years ago, Joey’s wife was killed when she was 2 months pregnant with their child. He always wanted kids, but. didn’t have any. He started to watch out for Zane as if he was his child. If a child tried to smear cake or food on Zane’s face ,Joey has a superpower where the child would smear cake on their own face instead. If a child tried to kick Zane, Joey could wave a circle his broom in the air, and the kid would start dancing. If a child started to call Zane stupid, Joey and would wave his magic duster and the child would start singing a silly song. That would make Zane laugh. Each of Joeys cleaning supplies had some type of magic.

Joey learned sign language so he could communicate with the boy. He and the boy had a secrete magic handshake. If they wanted to travel, Joey and Zane would do their secrete magic handshake and they could travel anywhere in the world or even another planet.
