Zamphere And The Queen To The Rescue

'The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished.'

Zamphere was on his way to rescue, Princess Maze.

He was riding on his pet, Hippogriff when he spotted someone drifting on a log in Mystic Lake.

He commanded Hippogriff to dive down to save that person.

Queen Mary of Scotland, was sucked into a portal to the past. She was having a picnic near her castle, Neipath.

She loved to sit by the River Tweed to eat her breakfast. Something caught her eye. It looked like a small animal trying not to be drawn into the river.

She got up and went into the river to save it. When gotten hold of it, she was sucked into the river.

Zamphere brought the queen out of Mystic Lake. He lay the Queen on the grass.

The Hippogriff was very gentle in releasing the queen from its claws. The queen was spitting out water she was choking on.

“Where am I?” She asked her rescuer.

“You are near Mystic Lake, in the Deiro Kingdom,” Zamphere answered.

“This cannot be!!! Did I go back in time??? Scotland used to be called Deiro Kingdom.” she said in disbelief.

Queen Mary thought she would wake up soon from this nightmare.

“ I must leave you here, I need to rescue my bride from the Dragon King,” he told the queen.

“You cannot leave me here, take me with you.” Queen Mary Commanded.

Zamphere did not have time to argue, he let the queen ride with him.

It was not long before they arrived at the Dragon Queen’s Castle.

Hippogriff, drop them off at the highest tower of the castle. They both sneak into the castle from the tower.

They saw Cerberus sleeping near a dungeon doorway. Zamphere motioned the queen to keep silent as they tried to go around the three-headed dog sleeping.

Zamphere was able to open the dungeon door but Queen Mary accidentally kicked the sleeping Cerberus. They quickly went in the door before the three-headed dogs got woken up.

Cerberus woke up and looked around. It went back to its napping.

Zamphere whispered Maze’s name into the dark hallway. Zamphere took a magical torch in his pocket and whispered the Chant to light it up. The other torches in the hall light up and lead them to where Maze was imprisoned. Maze heard them coming. She pointed to the opposite wall, where the key to her door was hanging.

Zamphere freed Maze. They had to find another way out because of the three-headed dogs.

Maze had been to this castle before, she knew the secret door from the Dungeon that led to the edge of Mystic Lake.

Zamphere and Mary just followed Maze silently. Once they arrived at the lake clearing they all spoke, at the same time.

“Are you all right?” Zamphere asked Maze

“ Who is she?” Maze asked looking at Queen Mary.

“Now, we saved your bride, can you help me find the portal back to my kingdom?” Mary asked.

“My name is Queen Mary. I am from the future.” Mary answered.

“ We will help you, Queen Mary, after Maze and I get married. There will not be a Scotland if Maze is forced to Marry King Drake.” Zamphere told here.

Queen Mary, figured this Drake fellow was a bad guy. Mary was always up for an adventure.

They walked to the nearby forest to get to the rundown castle.

“ This is your castle, Maze? What a disgrace.” Queen Mary commented.

Maze explained her situation to the queen.

The wedding reception area of the castle was burnt down. Looked like the Dragon invaded the castle grounds again.

Maze and Zamphere were not surprised by what they saw. They ensured everyone in the kingdom was accounted for and safe.

Zamphere was made general by Maze of her kingdom. He spoke to the knight he left in charge. He explained what happened while they were away.

He told them the kingdom was attacked by dragons and that everyone got to the special dugout for safety.

Queen Mary was impressed by how they prepared for the dragon attack in their kingdom.

Zamphere asked the servants to prepare for the wedding and call the priest to start the ceremony as soon as possible.

Maze asked the Queen if she could be her maid of honor. The Queen was very delighted to be asked for such honor.

Unfortunately, before the ceremony started the Queen disappeared in thin air.

The Dragons started to attack the Kingdom. Maze and Zamphere were in their suit of armor always ready to battle the dragons.

Everyone ran into the special safety dugout that protected them from the dragon fire attack.

Maze and Zamphere join forces to drive away the dragons. The Dragons were defeated by Maze and Zamphere. The dragon retreated.

The wedding had to be postponed for another day.
