You were never really here
Something That Does Not Exist Yet is Always Important

Early in the morning Gallopatrot might appear in a waking dream. Although never really here, Gallopatrot never really leaves. Gallopatrot is more than a ghost or a memory. Sometimes Gallopatrot disappears like sugar crystals in water, or the smell of perfume, or quarter-hourly chimes of a grandfather clock or the pain from wars that occur every day. Perhaps sensory fatigue or habituation caused by repeated exposure leads to a decrease in response to the stimulus of the dragon's presence. Yet Gallopatrot is the stuff of legends that lingers long after an era is gone.
I am not the first to have noted the presence of Gallopatrot. Gallopatrot is one of the winged serpents known since before the time when serpent Wadjet lived on the eyebrow of the god Ra. The Vedic dragon Vitra, was born of Danu, the mother of the Danvana race of Asura, the serpent nature spirits. A serpent enveloped Buddha under the Bodhi tree of Enlightenment. The Mayan serpent lived atop the World tree. The Norse dragon eats from the roots of the World tree, Yggdrasil.

Like the rainbow serpent of Australia, the fire serpent, Nin Gizzada, and the Hindu kundalini serpent, Gallopatrot transmits the coiled mothering spirit and consciousness of wisdom. The west African serpent Ashanti, named Dan , was carried on the staff of Moses. The Greek goddess Sophia, Hermes and Asclepius, carried the caduceus that holds the secret of the sacred marriage of two entwined serpents with opposing energies: spirit and matter, heaven and earth, intellect and intuition, medicinal and poisonous, preserver and destroyer, spiritual and sensual. The dragon is both revered and despised. It can unleash the desired and detested untold truth of nature.

Greek myth describes the Chimera with a lion’s head that breathes out fire, a goat’s body, wings, and a serpent head on its tail born of raw nature in gas vents on the Lycian way in southwestern Turkey. The Chinese describe the dragon chimera Pixiu, where Bixie and Tianlu are flying dragon lions who protect the souls of the dead. The Qilin, with a body of a deer, covered with the scales of a fish, and a neck of a giraffe and head of a dragon sporting a single horn, defend against evildoers.
Giant reptilian-like ancestors have left their mark in myth, memory, and the human vestigial remnants of gill slits, a tail and nictitating membranes and the dragon brain of humans, that existed before consciousness. Gallopatrot appears, poof, just like that, in the dreams of many children and those with the eyes of children born of a pure mind and heart without conscious thought. Gallopatrot flows in chaos to show the Princess Golinda what is considered normal, according to the mathematical and statistical definition that occurs within the Poisson distribution.

Golinda first noticed Gallopatrot in an apple tree. She saw what looked like a baleen whale, sporting a head dress that was a wild mane made out of leaves and delicate white and pink blossoms on the branches, was belted over the head of the ferocious beast. It had a short body attached to large wings and a tail which fanned out. As the lower bill of the beak snatched the smallest morsels and ripped large mouthfuls, the eyes lifted as a latch. Long graceful lashes covered the two sets of waning crescent moon shaped dark eyes. The eyes were huge but not vacant as they moved to look into the sun then focused on Golina. The dragon spoke in a way in which it had been trained, by rank and birth. A spark of reflected light transmitted nature’s message.

“We are off to see the Green Men the Green Fairy and the dryads, where the Fairy Godmother and Wizard can guide and explain, in action, how two heads of the fiery serpent can collide and create imaginary mass."

Gallopatrot follows a serpentine path that takes mankind on the wild hunt of wished for treasures, that are carried in the pearls of wisdom that repeat in fractal sets. Seen floating in clouds, drifting across constellations or in sleeping and waking dreams, patterns on wood or throughout nature, or in the dredges of coffee and leaves of tea, diviners and those with pareidolia learn to recognize the thoughts hidden within the mind.
Stories of the Golden Fleece and the ring of Nibelung hold the same message: the treasures protected by the dragon are often stolen by thieves through unscrupulous means, then become the spoils of empty victories. Nature’s steed was no thief.
Gallopatrot cures cosmic amnesia that causes forgetting about our origins and why we are here. Ancestral instincts stemming from the synapsid relatives originating in Pelycosaurs mark the starting place of understanding and wisdom. It was passed to the Cynodont Therapsids around 225 million years ago, then to mammals, when Gallopatrot underwent innovation. Gallopatrot became the hippocampus who guards and protects creative instinct and inner sight and can be depended upon to respond and do whatever is needed to be done, while knowing love is a commodity of value needed for connections.

Gallopatrot is associated with the temporal lobe, that controls time and space of episodic memories, making the best of what is possible while favoring memories that capture the incredible best elements of thought and intention.

Gallopatrot provides a window to the spiritual universe by retrieving forgotten memories that elicit metanoia, a change in consciousness. Gallopatrot can make the heart light and keep the spirit alive as a beautiful thing. Princess Golinda smiles, feeling safe and protected enough to risk and dare while drifting on the back of her sleeping dragon.
The reptilian force of the brain holds the dragon’s breath that carries the power of celestial gods. The essence of the meteoric iron in the blood is well -tempered so that the changes pass unnoticed through the centuries.

A condensed consciousness, hard-wired through the evolution of code scripts, awakens the dragon when uncontrollable stress leads to submission, aggression or mutual cooperation. Princess Golinda sometimes argues with Gallopatrot and pushes for her logic, or chooses to surrender to the master of mysterious forces that can naturally spark neurons that modulate a response, specific to the moment. Gallopatrot creates short-lived, bright events, with memories that pulse faster than the speed of light and travel through time.

Gallopatrot has knowledge of sacred geometry, without knowing a thing about what mathematics and physics try to describe by measuring field emissions with semiconductors and superconductors, or developing theories of molecules, matter and the nature of the wave. Gallopatrot holds the secret of alchemy, where little things with weak forces affect chance and lead to serendipitous coincidence.
Golinda hangs tight as Gallopatrot follows the dots that form the lines that make a circle.
Gallopatrot and Golinda ride the waves that follow the movement of a circle.
They tap into the moment when the difference between the hidden poles of victory and defeat are reduced.
They discover the seed and flower of life in the sacred rose that is part of the apple orchard.
Gallopatrot transmits the energy of the souls of the dead, so their messages can cross barriers and tunnel through the elemental domains of the flux of the heavens to mankind, and supply answers to undefined questions. The dragon inspires or refuses the passion needed to navigate life’s adventures with hope that is carried on the wing and a prayer. The dragon is never really here, but always present. It influences how we learn, perceive and navigate along our path in life.

Whoaaaa, this was such a fascinating take on the challenge. Also, are all those artwork yours?
Wow! I was immersed the entire time. I love Dragons and magic and the story you told here felt very believable. And I really enjoyed this bit of knowledge: -the treasures protected by the dragon are often stolen by thieves through unscrupulous means, then become the spoils of empty victories.- Nice!!!
