I saw a story on You Tube on my Roku channel of a young man who read the comic "All Star Superman" when the Man Of Steel whose is an alien from Krypton came to Earth as an infant after his birth planet was destroyed by an earthquake.

Superman who was adopted by Martha and Jonathan Kent raised the young alien who gave him the name Clark.

In many of the Superman cartoons that I have seen either on television or in the movies, Clark Kent admits to persons who know him that his parents taught him to have compassion for other human beings and respect for others.

The point I am making why Superman is admired by young persons who read the comic book "All Star Superman" is that a young lady whose name I forget wanted to end her own life due to the stresses of life and being dealt a bad hand in life which made her think that taking her own life would end her suffering.

Superman made one statement that touched her heart when he told the young lady "You are stronger than you think. Trust me."

I know if I were in her shoes, it would move me to believe to move forward in life and not give in to my demons that want to end my life.

As a fan fiction writer of Wordgirl who was on PBS Kids from 2007-2015, my understanding is that the character who was created by Dorothea Gillim is a parody of Superman.

What I have found out is that a writer can write a character like Superman and share their view of the Man Of Steel.

Some of the stories are wonderful while some of the stories of Superman in the comic books which are based on world events can lay an egg.

For example one complaint that many comic book readers have with Superman's character is that why does the writer have to inject politics into one Superman comic book where our hero decides to be an American superhero but a worldwide hero?

One reason is that people like their superheroes who are either aliens or earthlings is to be one of us common people in their down time while saving the world in their hero time and not allow world events to depress the reader of the comic book with sad stories.

Okay I get it that not all stories have happy endings in our current world that does not know that despite our problems like illness and natural disasters, there will rough times for all of us to handle but someone Upstairs is testing us to grow into good persons with character.

Superman is a hero that could allow his ego to be stroked to the point where he can destroy our world if he wanted to since people do not follow his example of being kind to others.

The comic book "All Star Superman" which I have not read I understand is a very good story since our hero when he is most needed made the decision to leave Earth and repair the sun before all mankind wouldcease to exist.

Sure the ending of the comic book revealed that Lex Luthor who is Superman's arch rival found out how to develop a clone of the Man Of Steel when Lex had Superman's powers for a period of time by telling Dr. Leo Quintim that if he could find the right person to give birth to a child with the DNA of Superman, his legacy would go on in the future was not "Wow what a happy ending." But I understand that I am behind the times when it comes to world events.
