Which witches are witching
Down by the pumpkin patch on all hallows eve
Far, far away in the bewitched witching, most scary, bizarre, frightening, startling, disturbing, unnerving, disconcerting, intimidating, chilling and shocking of all the petrified forests, lived the TEN SISTERS OF THE SCALDING CAULDRON. Witches most alarming.
Tis Antolla, Brunlea, Camela, Dimele, Emilia, Fereng, Gilda, Hagata, Ignella and Jamete, the Ten Evil Witches of Witching Manor.
No one, man or beast dared venture near, for the sister's favorite pastime is nibbling on little itty-bitty parts of the unsuspecting travelers and explorers who wandered innocently into their domain of witching witchery.
Tis All Hallows Eve, the favorite night of fright and feast for these witches. The cauldron is prepared, the ingredients for the perfect recipe have all been gathered.
"Sister witches gather round"
" tis all hallows, evil dragon be yet found"
" a powerful potion must be wrought"
"prepare the brew, prepare the broth"
"Begin, begin, feed the fire, heart's desire"
"witch's smoke rise higher, ever higher"
"Eye of dragon, faerie's breath, tooth of child"
"rebellious, unruly, spoiled and wild"
"wing of bat, tail of cat, black bear's claw"
"lizard's tongue, blackened feather of jackdaw"
"hurry, hurry. secret garnishes into the crew"
"thyme, rosemary, sage and oregano completes the brew"
Gathered around the large bubbling eerie looking cauldron, with smoke billowing in multicolored deliciously evil shades of foulness rising, falling and swirling into the night air, were the sister's ten, of fore mentioned Witching manor. Round and round the cauldron they danced chanted, screeched, howled, all this while conjuring their horrid putrid spell:
"Sister witches gather round"
" tis all hallows. Evil dragon be yet found"
" a powerful potion must be wrought"
"prepare the brew, prepare the broth"
"Begin, begin, feed the fire, heart's desire"
"witch's smoke rise higher, ever higher"
"Eye of dragon, faerie's breath, tooth of child"
" unruly, rotten, spoiled and wild, dragon's heart"
"wing of bat, tail of cat, black bear's claw"
"lizard's tongue, blackened feather of jackdaw"
"hurry, hurry. secret garnishes into the crew"
"thyme, rosemary, sage and oregano completes the brew"
Beneath the giant toadstools, the faeries cowered, someone will lose their breath tonight.
"Should we run away, but, where would we go"? Eloni, the green fairy whispered fearfully.
"We cannot, we cannot. Dragon Zylon, though he be horrible and mean, and the child, we cannot leave"! Mayla the pink fairy whispered back.
Zylon the dragon had been roaming in the woods earlier, he had spotted a tiny tot of the human kind. The child seemed lost, and was quite alone. Being very hungry, and he be willing to eat the little human, a succulent if somewhat tiny morsel, opened wide his wretched mouth and, to the consternation of fairy Mayla, closed his fangs over the child. He tasted and sampled the taste. It was really extremely, delicate and delicious.
"Spit it out this instant", yelled Mayla, flying up high and sprinkling petrified dust upon the head of greedy Zylon.
"Phyitt", went dragon. Slime, saliva and child went sliding to the ground. The young one went 'whee', unaware of the momentary danger and terror that it just avoided, of nearly being eaten by a dragon. Dragon could not move.
Meanwhile, Hagata, Jamete and Camela, the witches, were just passing by. Seeing the perfect opportunity to capture a dragon, realizing that he had been temporarily incapacitated, cast a spell most binding. They wrapped up and tied up poor Zylon and magically transported him to the forest of Witching manor. They threw in child and Mayla for good measure. Mayla's sisters. to her consternation, came seeking why she was late to home. They too were captured and trapped beneath the witch's toadstools.
So explains the tale of how dragon, child and fairies, became the recipe for a brew most horrendous.
The witches however, forgot, yes forgot, to take away the fairy dust on which the faeries surely rely. They sprinkled and undid all the magic of the evil wrought by the sisters ten. So, while the witches rehearsed and chanted, the little fairies flew to dragon, sprinkling as they flew. They sprinkled the child, placed it upon dragon's back, climbed on themselves and very quietly, for they sprinkled quiet black dust upon the air, ever so quietly, they all flew up, up into the sky.
Brunlea, most sensitive of the ten witches, sensed a change in the motions of time. Glancing up to the night sky, she saw dragon streaking fast and far away.
"Escape, escape"! She shrieked ear splittingly.
The chanting halted in mid denouement, for the stage had been almost set for the culmination of the wonderous notion of a potion.
"Get them, get them"! Came the cry.
Nylani the orange fairy, sprinkled invisible dust upon them all. Like magic, actually, it was magical, masking their total disappearance from the sky.
The witches roared in disappointment. They potion had been snookered, thwarted, hindered. Now they had to resort to rats and cats and bats. Next year for sure they would again brew the perfect charmed feast.
The child, who was called Rhue, was returned to his parents, a little damp and moist, but none the worse for wear, after the fairies made enquiries as to a lost little human. Dragon Zylon tried his best to not eat any more little tots. After all, look at how much trouble that got him into, he had almost lost his eye and heart. He shivered at the very thought.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! He wished everyone.

What a fun take on the challenge prompt!
This is wonderful. Well done.
Those witch sisters were ruthless! But I loved their names. It was so creative of you to name them with the first 10 letters of the alphabets. Loved this story!
I love your article
