1-Julia Legare: In 1852, Julia Legare was buried alive in a family tomb in South Carolina. Seventy-two hours later, when her brother died, the family tomb was reopened, and they discovered Julia had shifted her position in the coffin and had scratch marks on her face. Sadly, she perished shortly after being freed.

2-Angelo Hays: A motorcycle accident in 1937 left Angelo Hays severely injured and seemingly lifeless. Mistaken for dead, he was placed in a coffin and taken to the morgue. Hours later, as his body was being prepared for burial, Angelo regained consciousness, shocking the attendants.

3-Philomele Jonetre: In 1867, Philomele Jonetre, a French woman, was struck by a sudden illness and declared dead. Following her burial, the gravediggers heard banging noises coming from her grave. They hastily exhumed the coffin and found Philomele in a state of shock but alive. She lived for several more years before passing away naturally.

7-Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov: In 2011, a woman named Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov was mistakenly declared dead during her own funeral in Russia. The shock of waking up inside a coffin was too much for her, and she suffered a heart attack and died for real shortly after.

8-Gautam Sarker: In 2012, Gautam Sarker, a 23-year-old man from Bangladesh, was involved in a motorcycle accident. Pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, his body was sent to the morgue. Hours later, as his funeral was about to begin, Gautam suddenly regained consciousness and shocked everyone present.

9-Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi:
In 2012, a 28-year-old waiter from Egypt named Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi suffered a heart attack and was declared dead. As his family prepared to lay him to rest, Hamdi suddenly awoke in his coffin, leading to a mixture of relief and shock. 10-Anastasia Guzhova:
Anastasia Guzhova, a 27-year-old Russian woman, experienced a severe asthma attack in 2012 that resulted in her being declared dead. During her funeral, Anastasia regained consciousness and began screaming, startling everyone present. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where her life was saved. Her remarkable awakening became the talk of the town and a testament to the unpredictable nature of life and death.
