What Happened to Borealis?

When your parents give you an original name, you stand out. Borealis always stood out. Her pretty face certainly helped, and I was drawn to her immediately. We both were in Washington DC for one of those middle school trips, our tour buses stopping at important site after important site. I never said more than an awkward hello, but I never forgot her either. Was it her name or that beautiful face?
