Waking Up - Part 2

In the early stages of my education at Peking University and Tsinghua University, I had partnered with several other engineers in China in order to institute the HyperIntellect AI Project at Orion Dynamics. My Chinese partners were especially interested in developing AI in order to use for their education system and their military.

We began to veer into different research areas…

I was focused on AI advancements for more efficient technology in daily life for the average American household. I had seen too many stressed Americans and wanted to strategize on ways to have AI do more of the work for them so that they could live more fulfilling, healthier lives.

The day that my team released ALIX was the best day of my life because I knew that it would revolutionize the world. Other forms of AI had slower, less efficient responses. ALIX, on the other hand, was a pure mastermind. Much of what she was focused on was promoting health and wellness. Even simple tasks, such as deleting extraneous emails and junk mail, as she had been programmed to detect, all had the intention to clear humans minds.

ALIX also had the ability to analyze people and then conduct an assessment on the toxic influences in that persons life and give reports on who to have less exposure around and who to increase exposure around. This system feature in her was called the social chemistry analysis. It generated reports that linked to iPhones and other Apple devices.

Many future events she could essentially predict the future before it actually occurred. She analyzed dozens of news channels and formed something called pre-news calculations.

ALIX spoke...

"Dr. Vance, remember how you broke away from the other Chinese AI engineers because they were too focused on developing AI for their military offensive operations?"

"Ahh. Yes, of course I do... What makes you ask?"

"Well, their AI system (IX) has done something... alarming..."

"No joke… What?"

Dr. Vance and Mia both yelled in unison.

"(IX) has launched a series of Caihong unmanned drones with capabilities for reconnaissance and a major strike mission."

"What the...?

Dr. Vance barked.

"A strike mission on who?"

“IX has declared cyberwar on NATO and…”

The seconds that passed felt like hours.

“And what, ALIX?”

“And… I created a system ERROR because… I told (IX)… before seeking your human permission or assistance… I told them - let World War III begin…”

Mia started to hyperventilate.
