Chapter 5

From Stranded to Survivors

Abdullah, Muaz, Maha, and the three other passengers who survived the storm, woke up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. They were all grateful to be alive and on land. They spent the first two days on the beach, trying to recover their strength and gather their wits about them. They had no idea where they were, but they knew they had to start moving inland to find food, water, and shelter.

The jungle was dense and dangerous, with vines and trees blocking their path. They had to hack their way through with a machete that one of the passengers had luckily found washed up on the beach. At night, they would huddle together and light a small fire for warmth and protection.

One night, as they were settling down to sleep, they heard rustling in the bushes nearby. Suddenly, a large panther leapt out at them, its eyes glowing in the darkness. The group was terrified, but they had to fight for their survival. They quickly grabbed their machetes and makeshift weapons and stood their ground.

The panther attacked, its claws and teeth flashing in the dim light. The survivors fought back, yelling and screaming as they tried to fend off the fierce beast. Abdullah and Muaz were in the front line, using their machetes to strike the panther, while Maha and the others threw stones and branches at it.

After a long and grueling battle, the panther finally lay motionless on the ground, its body covered in cuts and bruises. The group of survivors breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that they had narrowly escaped death. They sat around the fire, comforting each other and feeling grateful for their victory. As they settled down to sleep once again, Abdullah realized that he had grown closer to Maha during the ordeal. He wondered if there could be something more between them, but he kept his feelings to himself for now. They had to focus on surviving and finding a way out of the jungle
