Elon and Vivian faced off for the first time in longer than either father or daughter could remember.

“Elon,” Vivian said.

Elon opened his mouth, but Vivian raised her hand.

“Don’t even start if you’re going to call me by that name,” she said.

Elon snapped his mouth shut and nodded.

“What’s this about?” Vivian asked.

Elon tossed Billie’s dossier on the desk.

“You know.”

Vivian grinned.

“So, you figured it out. I didn’t think you had the brainpower to.”

“You are my spawn,” Elon spat, “so I am giving you one chance to stop all this.”

“Or what?”

“Elimination.”
