Victory

My journey begins here in Taya,small town with population of about 2000 people.Far away from the big city light's and noise and busy traffic and hustle and bustle.I wouldn't have it any other way.

Growing up in this small town,you get to know most folk's.Most of the people here,care for one another and look out for each other.I imagine it's how most people would like to live, and how people of old lived.

Now the Big city called ''Zeno'' was about two hour drive away,I would visit the city from time to time,I had family and friends living there.It was also just a different environment and vibration.Big buildings with Light's and Big Parks and Hotels, Stores for just about anything you needed.

The people of Zeno were very wealthy in riches and had a abundance of opportunity for the people living there.Now your probably wondering why I'm tell you all this?Well Zeno's ''Top Leaders'' are very ill, and are in need of a plant called ''Batil''this plant is native to the ''land of the brave''.

Land of the brave, three hour walk from Taya,few have dared to go,hence the name.Roaring Lions, Flying Eagles.. All kinds of wild beasts,you know why, only few would dare enter.I would never thought in my wildest imagination,I would be that person to go and get the plant

Living in a small town,we couldn't afford to have a group of us go there.We have a community of few people.plus i think, no one really wanted to go. Why me? Well i was one of the few people, to know about the plant.My grandparents are elders of my town,and have always used plant's and herb for healing.So i was best suited for the mission.So Here it goes...

I said my goodbyes to everybody,Family friends even those that weren't that fond of me,We all knew if i could get this plant,it would mean lives being saved.The people of Zeno had promised to pay our community fairly afters years of unfair trading and miss managing of funds.Even they knew i was risking my life for them, and thing's had to change between Taya and Zeno.

I set off on my journey,not knowing if i would see my family and friends again.I had to keep strong and focused on my mission,I couldn't and wouldn't let feelings and emotions get in the way of the mission.

After three hours i had arrived to my destination,question is ''where do i go from here''? I had only 3 liters of water,i figured i wouldn't be here for more than one night.12:30 pm was the time and i was hungry from all that walking, I didn't bring any food,i wanted to catch my food.I didn't want a bag of food to weight me down,when i had the skills to catch my lunch and dinner.I also had learnt that you could go weeks without food.

I pulled out my bait and line and found a lake, i was at the lake for 30 minutes until i got some lunch,Good old Snapper fish.My next step was to start a fire,Gathered some leaves and sticks and went to starting the fire. Nothing like Fish you just caught.Belly fully..still no sign of the Batil plant

While their was still sun,I got a stick and rock and placed it down on the ground and waited for 20 minutes for the sun shadow to move so i could figure the direction of north,It worked like a compass.I walked to the north for about 40 minutes,so far so good.I wasn't met by any beasts or creatures.

''Here it is'',Batil plant,the plant that would change many lives.I figured while I'm here ,i might as well take my time to explore the area,my mission was complete.I took my time to wonder at the sites of this land where most had not gone,this was my one and only chance.Something about being alone with your own thoughts and natures surroundings.

If i could tell you something from my journey, it's take chances in life and believe in yourself ''fortune really does favor the brave''. The real battle is going on in your mind and once you win it over and over, well you start to take control and victory is inevitable.
