What Happened to Pharaoh's Gold

By David E. PerryPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

“It will never work.”, said Omari. “We can’t rob the pyramid while it’s being filled with the Pharaoh’s treasures.”

“It will be easy. Nobody would suspect a thing.” Sadiki replied. “Easy as pie. All we have to do is switch.”

“So, we are to just walk in with some treasure and walk just out with some also? And nobody supposed to see us.”

“Correct. Nobody will see us walk out.”

“What about the Pharaoh.”

“He’s dead you idiot.”

“What about his spirit.”

“Are you kidding me! Don’t tell me you believe in those stupid myths. He ain’t coming back.”

“Then why are you going through with this whole being sealed in with him thing?”

“Because I have the inside story.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Didn’t you know that there’s a back door to these places?”

“What! But the Pharaoh’s body is supposed to be sealed in forever.”

“The priest’s door isn’t sealed for 30 days. Of course, nobody is supposed to know this. However, I’ve worked something out with the high priest.”

“Wow!”

“Yep! As the Pharaoh’s chief servants, we get to spend eternity with him. When they seal us in, we’ll just walk right out. Set for life.”
