Unexpected Love

Once upon a time, on a remote tropical island in the Caribbean, there lived two people who couldn't have been more different.

Nina was a young African American woman who had come to the island to escape the stresses of the city and reconnect with nature. She was a botanist and had spent the last several months studying the island's unique plant life.

As they watched the stars come out, Kai leaned in to kiss Nina. "I love you" he whispered.

"I love you too" Nina replied, holding him tightly.

They would talk for hours, about everything and nothing, feeling the warmth of each other's presence and the love that united them.
