Under the Purple Clouds - A Tale of Magic and Wonder

Under the Purple Clouds

By Jackson KasiPublished 3 years ago 6 min read

Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. It was a sight that only a few lucky ones could witness. The world went silent as if it was waiting for the performance to begin. And then, the music started.

The sound was soft at first, like a whisper. Then it grew stronger, like a choir of angels, as if the heavens themselves were singing. The clouds twirled and spun, dancing in perfect harmony with the colors of the sky. They moved in waves, like the sea, reaching higher and higher until they touched the stars.

At the foot of the mountains, hidden away from the rest of the world, stood a small town named El Valle. There, under the purple clouds, lived a girl named Lucia. She was sixteen years old and had long, curly hair that danced in the wind. Her eyes were as blue as the sea and sparkled like diamonds under the moonlight.

Lucia lived with her grandmother, who had raised her since she was a baby. Her parents had died in a car accident when she was only two years old. Lucia didn't remember them, but her grandmother told her stories about them every night before she went to sleep.

"Your mother was a free spirit," her grandmother would say. "She loved to travel and explore new places. Your father was an artist. He loved to paint and draw, and he had a heart of gold. They were a perfect match."

Lucia loved to hear those stories, but she always felt a bit sad when her grandmother talked about her parents. She wished she had known them.

One night, as Lucia was watching the purple clouds dance, she noticed something strange. A figure appeared in the middle of the clouds. It was a woman with long, flowing hair, dressed in a purple gown. She looked down at Lucia and smiled.

"Who are you?" Lucia asked, but the woman didn't answer. Instead, she extended her hand, and Lucia felt a warm, inviting feeling.

Without thinking, Lucia reached out and took the woman's hand. Suddenly, she felt like she was flying. The clouds lifted her up, and she felt weightless, like she was floating in the air.

Lucia looked down at the town, and she could see everything from above. The houses and the streets were small, like toys. She felt like she was in a dream.

The woman led Lucia through the clouds, and they landed on a hill overlooking the town. Lucia looked around and saw that the woman had brought her to a garden. It was a beautiful garden, with flowers of every color and trees that reached the clouds.

The woman led Lucia to a bench and sat down beside her.

"Do you know who I am?" she asked.

Lucia shook her head.

"I am the spirit of the purple clouds," the woman said. "I come out every night to dance with the sky, but I rarely show myself to humans. You are a special girl, Lucia. You have a pure heart, and you can see the magic in the world."

Lucia didn't know what to say. She had never heard of a spirit of the clouds before, but she felt honored that the woman had chosen her.

"Why did you bring me here?" Lucia asked.

"To show you the magic of the world," the woman said. "To show you that there is more to life than what you see in the town. You have a gift, Lucia. You have the ability to see the beauty in everything, and that is a rare gift."

Lucia smiled. She felt happy and free, like she had never felt before. She looked around at the garden, and she knew that this was where she belonged.

The woman stood up and extended her hand to Lucia.

Lucia took the woman's hand and stood up. She felt a surge of energy pass through her body, and she knew that something magical was about to happen.

The woman led Lucia to a tree, and as they approached it, the leaves started to glow with a soft, purple light. The woman placed her hand on the trunk of the tree, and a door appeared.

"Through this door, you will find a world beyond your wildest dreams," the woman said.

Lucia looked at the door, hesitating for a moment. She was afraid of what might lie beyond it, but her curiosity got the better of her.

She took a deep breath and stepped through the door. The world on the other side was unlike anything she had ever seen before. It was a place of wonder and magic.

There were fields of flowers that glowed in the dark, forests filled with fireflies, and waterfalls that sparkled like diamonds. There were creatures that she had never seen before, like unicorns and dragons, and they all seemed to welcome her.

As she explored this magical world, Lucia felt like she was finally living the life that she had always dreamed of. She felt free and alive, like she had never felt before.

She spent hours wandering through this magical world, but eventually, she realized that it was time to return to the town. She didn't want to leave, but she knew that she had responsibilities.

The woman appeared beside her, and Lucia knew that it was time to go back.

"Will I ever see you again?" Lucia asked the woman.

The woman smiled. "You don't need to see me to know that I'm here," she said. "I will always be with you, in the magic of the world around you."

With those words, the woman disappeared, and Lucia found herself back in the garden. She looked around, and everything seemed to have changed. The colors were brighter, the air was sweeter, and she felt like she had a new sense of purpose.

Lucia walked back to the town, feeling different than before. She was no longer afraid or lost, but instead, she felt empowered and filled with a new sense of wonder.

As she entered the town, she noticed that everything looked different to her. The buildings seemed to have a new sparkle, and the people she passed seemed to be filled with a newfound energy.

Lucia walked through the streets, taking in all the sights and sounds around her. She noticed that people were greeting her with a smile and a nod, and she felt like she was finally a part of this community.

As she walked past the bakery, the baker called out to her.

"Lucia, my dear, come and taste my latest creation," he said, holding out a tray of fresh pastries.

Lucia smiled and took a pastry. As she bit into it, she realized that it was the most delicious thing she had ever tasted. The flavors were richer, and the texture was more satisfying than she remembered.

As she continued walking, she saw a group of children playing in the park. They ran up to her, laughing and holding out their hands.

"Come play with us, Lucia!" they shouted.

Lucia hesitated for a moment, but then she realized that she had nothing to lose. She joined in their game, running and laughing with them as if she were a child again.

That night, as Lucia lay in bed, she realized that the woman's words were true. The magic of the world was all around her, and she had only needed to open her eyes to see it.

From that day on, Lucia lived her life with a new sense of wonder and magic. She explored new places, tried new things, and met new people. And she knew that no matter where she went, the magic of the world would always be with her.
