“Warning. Low oxygen.”

Shit.

Like any good idiot who jumped into space, Gunnarsson had a list of preferred ways to die, topped by nuclear atomization.

“Warning. Low oxygen.

Suffocation was only above slowly crushed by a titanium plate.

Gunnarsson slammed his stim pack, groaning as adrenaline filled him. All the other suits lay eternally still.

He ripped free the restraints and tangled cables around him and confirmed the casualties.

“Warning. Low oxygen.”

Rodriguez’s reserve tank was thankfully intact.

“Thanks, buddy,”

“Oxygen 96%.”

Once free of the wreck, his blood ran cold. The massive tentacled Leviathan already hovered over Hadfield Station.

You are smart to offer microfiction. In this one, I like Gunnarsson's "list of preferred ways to die" and the "massive tentacled Leviathan." Bravo! 👏 I will not be on Vocal frequently due to career priorities, but when I can, I will stop by to enjoy more of your work.

Oooh, sounds like Gunnarson is in trouble. Also, as a Canadian I appreciate "Hadfield" station.
