“Warning, Puncture Detected.”
At least one rib pierced his lung, likely two.
The monstrosity’s clawed outgrowth compressed him against the wall while rows of razor-sharp teeth snapped at his helmet, barely held off by his gauntleted forearm.
A maul-like growth lashed out, missing him by centimeters, and tore through the station wall. The maul recoiled, and Gunnarsson watched a shower of sparks follow.
He tensed, ripped the hose from his hip, and flailed it wildly. No flames erupted, but Gunnarsson could feel the immense heat even through his suit's insulation.
The disgusting monstrosity bellowed an inaudible roar and skittered away.
