Caitlyn cared deeply about the Earth and nature. As she grew up, she watched as one of her favourite swimming holes become toxic from the runoff of the nearby mill. It was the motivation for her to study chemistry in university so that she could find better ways for humans to get rid of waste through the use of chemical reactions to remove the unnatural chemical combinations that nature could not deal with.

She was onsite collecting water samples from a local mine's refuse site. They built two dams to contain all the water that they dumped refuse into, creating a thick black sludge at the bottom of the murky waters. Dam site #2 towered above the easily accessible dam site #1 where she was when the second dam gave way.

What would later be found to be a fault in rushed engineering of the second dam would be the last anyone saw of Caitlyn, the kind hearted chemist.

The... thing... that emerged from the toxic sludge would be only known as Tox. The chemical makeup of the refuse altered her DNA when debris punctured her body, letting the waste seep into her... change her.

Water she consumed now turned to a gaseous form of hydrogen peroxide. Everything she touched died from the deadly toxins that she'd breath out or seeped from the pores of her skin.

Humans created her, the deadliest toxic being. Cleansing the Earth, meant cleansing her creators.

Love it actually in another meaning but as well as toxic this is why everybody should also clean themselves from daily food people etc. and even generational bad karma as it does toxify and is changing another human DNA in the year of dragon there is a great possibility through exact Qigong practice one can bring back the original or even transform DNA for much better One Your story brought me back to my consciousness the one I am trying to escape from for a while mainly because people are not that aware of it and recently even watching eclipse or sun may interact with blood like toxifying so nature is already doing it invisible way only some people who are deep into practice or have great awareness are able to feel it sense and already protect Great story or article of awareness I would call ! Thanks for sharing !

Mother nature creates pathogens to fight off overpopulation in many species, this is sorta a play on what if the toxins we created create something that mother nature warped to fight back against our waste.
