there was a youthful monk named Toshi who lived in a small Monastery at the bottom of a mountain Toshi was a active pupil always eager to learn and explore the training of Zen Buddhism one day while Toshi was planning in the friary's theater he heard a rustling sound he opened his eyes and saw a butterfly fluttering around the flowers Toshi watched in admiration as the butterfly danced in the air moving painlessly from one flower to another as he continued to observe the butterfly Toshi realized that it sounded to be fully at peace with the world around it the butterfly didn't feel to be floundering or seeking to achieve anything it was simply enjoying the beauty of the moment Toshi understood also that the butterfly's Stillness was what allowed it to surrender to the macrocosm the butterfly's calmness allowed it to be fully present in the moment without any distractions or worries from that moment on Toshi made it his charge to cultivate Stillness in his own mind he spent hours planning fastening on his breath and letting go of all his worries and distractions as he continued to exercise so she began to understand the true nature of the macrocosm she realized that everything in the world is connected and that he was just a small part of a much larger whole with this newfound
