The news on Wall Street had only gotten worse. Gerald Daniels could only sit at his desk and watch the updates appear on the website. It was all still pretty chaotic, but he could already imagine the horrific outcome of today’s news. September 18, 2008 would be remembered for generations to come. Like Black Tuesday before it, this could very well be a day that shattered the nation’s economy.

The footage was crystal clear. Every disgusting detail of the crime could be seen. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln was recorded in brilliant, gruesome clarity. The horror of the wound and the spread of shock amongst the faces in the crowd below were saved for all time in High Definition.

Rowling's Discovery, or the Titan's Ghost. Runner-Up in Ship of Dreams Challenge.
Jonathan Rowling barely managed to dodge the tail of a huge tuna fish. The poor fish fellow whipped around excitedly as it tried to escape its fate. After the close call, Rowling managed to get a secure grip on the tail and pull the fish further onto the deck.
