A loud thump sounded on the roof top, “Oh shit,” glancing at the ceiling, she wondered if a branch fell. Her stomach turned as footsteps sounded across the loft space. Focusing on her photography project, resisting the urge to look up. A woman was killed in this garage, before she bought the house, that much she knew. Ghosts in the daytime though? That seemed like a stretch. The sound of smacking lips chilled her spine. Risking a glance into the loft, two glowing eyes looked back at her. A shrill meow broke the tension, Kiki stepped out of the shadows.
