Theirs was a happy family until the day the mysterious letter arrived. The Johnson's, consisting of Ethan Alexander, his wife Victoria Wilson and their two children, Dan and Lily , lived in a beautiful home in Houston. Ethan a famous actor, had just finished filming his latest movie, while Victoria, an accomplished actress and producer, was working on a new project. As the days went by, Ethan became increasingly withdrawn. He stopped attending family gatherings and stopped returning Victoria’s calls. Dan and Lily noticed the change in their father, but they had no idea what was causing it.

On one fateful day; a private investigator named Gabriel Ross showed up at their doorstep. He was tall, imposing man with a stern expression, and he looked liked he meant business.

“Can I help you?” Victoria asked, answering the door.

“ Yes, Mrs. Alexander,” Gabriel replied. “ My name is Gabriel Ross, and I’m a private investigator. I’ve been hired to look into some irregularities regarding the family.”

Victoria’s expression changed from curiosity to concern. “What kind of irregularities ?” She asked.

“ I’m not at liberty to disclose that information yet,” Gabriel said. But I would like to speak to your husband, Ethan, Is he available ?”

Victoria hesitated for a moment before calling out to Ethan. He came to the door, looking frightened and curious, and Gabriel introduced himself again.

Gabriel suggested that Mrs. Alexander leaves them for while they speak about the incidence. Victoria who was curious went upstairs but still trying to hear what the two were talking about. After a long chat, Gabriel suggested to take his leave and went away. Victoria waited for Ethan upstairs. Ethan entered the bedroom, looking depressed and frightened about what was going on. The voice kept buzzing in his head.

“Ethan, is everything okay. I heard the chat you had with the private investigator. I heard him talk about the unusual transactions made from your accounts. And also a link between your account and a shell company based in the Curacao Islands…”

“ Quiet, quiet, I don’t want to hear anything again about this!” Ethan said angrily and slammed the door.

Victoria was worried sick about Ethan. She tried to talk to him, to get him to open up what was bothering him, but he just pushed her away. She began to feel like she was losing her husband, and she didn’t know how to stop it.

As the tension in the family continue to build , strange things began to happen. Dan would come home from work and to find his room had been searched, and Lily would receive mysterious messages on her phone. It was as if someone was watching them waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

And then, one night Ethan disappeared. Victoria woke up to find his side of the bed empty, and his phone and wallet were still on the nightstand. She searched the house frantically, but there was no sign of him.

Dan and Lily were called home from their respective jobs, and the family began to search for Ethan. They filed a missing person’s report with the police, but as the days went by, There was no sign of Ethan.
